@Heritagefarms Have you ever stumbled upon the Fire OG cut or do you know anything about it? It was used in Wedding cake. People witness that it’s the most powerful of the OG cuts. But i don’t really buy it since I havnt heard much about it. I get the feeling you have a better understanding of the different cuts.
The reason I think it’s more likely a Triangle Kush cross is the power in the smoke I had. I have grown a lot of AKBB’s Triangle Kush crosses and they hit hard like that too.
I also just finally got a TK cut so I am anxious to see how it compares.
It’s very likely that “Wedding Cake” was put out by multiple people in order to cash in on the hype, with totally different parentage. The Wild West of Cannabis at work again.
Who. Wow. You have no idea. I thought this was common knowledge. I’m not gonna get into it. Really pointless. Some dropped a name when they weren’t supposed to. That’s all. It’s literally happening right now with krumpas. Very very common.
TK is definitely potent af, I just had that cut and waiting to get it back again… She stretches at least 3x so be prepared. I haven’t had a good wedding cake to be able to compare to her though.
I ran Fire OG and bred it with Goji.
I forgot what is in Fire OG, but is seemed like Bubba.
I liked Tahoe more and I also liked the purple Goji more than the Fire.
Ive smoked a couple WIFi and wasnt a big fan.
I really dont like The White.
wedding cake stretches quiet a bit as well, though that kinda makes sense (i believe she is tk pheno).
wc definitely has some measure of cookies (ish) genes in there. she has those tight nugs with minimal leaflets that i associate with the cookies gear. im a fan of those bakery terps so take my opinion with a heavy grain of salt.
I should have probably clarified that I didn’t think one of the primary parents of Wedding Cake was GSC. I didn’t look up the parents of Animal Mints before I said that… mea culpa
Fire OG’s great weed, haven’t seen it around in a long time, though (of course, I haven’t been looking, either haha). It was for sure all over the place in LA in the late 2000’s/early 2010’s, at the same time that all of the other OG’s were. Larry, Diablo, Skywalker, Fire, all of the “planetary” OG’s (remember those? Haha) like Mars/Saturn/Earth OG, SFV, Tahoe and on and on and on and on…
Honestly, I think a lot of those names (especially those planetary OG’s) were a marketing ploy, because there really wasn’t much of a difference in either their appearance or the way they tasted/smoked. Larry, to me, has a distinct floral flavor that’s slightly different than a lot of those other OG’s. Although, to be honest, pretty much every OG tastes floral/incense-y/cologne/perfume-y to me; SFV is the only OG I’ve ever blazed that tasted lemony. Tahoe has the most distinctive look; all OG’s have those classic tear drop-shaped calyxes, but Tahoe’s is more “exaggerated” for lack of a better word. They’re more elongated and easily identifiable. Tahoe’s got a look, for sure.
Unlike Wuachuma, I actually really like White Fire OG (although I haven’t blazed any in years), which just goes to show that everybody’s cannabinoid receptors are different. But to be honest, I like pretty much every OG. The high on all of them is pretty similar. None of them have ever made me all “couchlocked” or whatever, not too sure where that idea came from.
Why do you keep asking about the Fire OG? Did you get a cut or something?
I’ve grown it indoor as well. Very hard dense nugs. Oh and I was told this was handed down 3 times before I got it and it was a 25 year old cut. I can personally vouch for it is one of the most potent plants I have ever grown and that it hit really hard but after 2 months of cure is not so devastating on the inhale…or I am more careful toking.
