Take a look at Shroomery.org, they have getting started section with plenty of teas spelled out plainly. I followed them to make my still air box, shotgun fruiting chamber and how to make the brown rice flour jars and how to sterilize them. Easy peasy! :v:

Does this look like contamination? It is blue-green in color. Only one of the six I inoculated is showing this.

I take a bucket and put bleach water in it then open them under water. Or just bury it outside them take a shower.

I’ve used the pf technique a few times. I would like to use the method where u use the whole bin. I just just can’t wrap my head around how to colonize the substrate without It becoming contaminated. Unless you use a sanitized room. The pf technique seems the safest. I tried making a spore syringe from a spore print but wasn’t successful. Otherwise I would have jumped on @MidwestMover s offer. Thanks thanks by the way. Can’t wait to start working again to give back to this community.

Bucket and bleach water!

I’m out right now.

I’m gonna try and get a few in a week or so but the latest look small.

Been 8 or so years since I messed around w some mush- I did grain jars into bulk sub since I had a PC and was into growing a bunch on each flush. I cant see myself needing more than an oz or 2 at a time. Is BRF my best bet to just get a couple small runs in? Or should I be thinking BRF to a small bulk sub grow? Or is BRF really not worth it and I need to be thinking grain/bird seed again from the get go?
