Gonna document my 4th grow/first photo plant here. Orange Goji x Trumpnutz

Today’s update:

Plant seems to have found it’s veggy groove.

Question for y’all. Should I take a cutting from this plant and attempt to clone it before I flip the light schedule? I’ve never tried cloning before. Watched a few videos and I think I could handle it. If the cutting takes root, I could stick it in a small spot in my second tent that’s growing autos on 18/6.

How many cuttings should I take if I decide to try this? Thinking of flipping to flower in a couple weeks.

I’d take 3-5 or more if you can. Looks like a lot of lower branches. If anything you have a head start on another run or learn how to clone. Plant looks good!

Monday afternoon Gonutz update:

Just had the plant out of the tent for about 20 minutes of training and light defoliation. Getting really close to where I want to flip it to flower. It’s a 2x2 tent and only 4’ tall so I can’t grow a gigantic plant in that tent. When I was defoliating I took a rather large fan leaf off. That’s a pair of my sunglasses for size comparison:

The clone I took on November 23rd seems to be putting out new leaves, but I’m not sure what that means with regards to how the root propagation is going.

I might take one more cutting and try to root it in coco to see how that goes. I was thinking of possibly flipping the light schedule on December 5th, because that would mark the one year anniversary of my very first grow. The way the plant has been growing lately, I’m thinking December 5th will be the latest I go before flipping. Might flip it before that. I just don’t want the plant to have a huge stretch and run in to problems with my tent not being big enough.

Anyway lots happening here. Thanks for coming along. :+1:

Ended up flipping the light schedule to 12/12 December 1st. Holy cow look at all that new lime green growth!

Getting exciting!

Ok so today has been a week since I flipped the lights. Took the plant into the backyard for about 10 minutes for a quick trim and train. Only took about 8-10 fan leaves to help light penetration and air circulation. This is the backside you don’t usually see in the indoor pics.

here is the normal angle after the trim.

@corey do you recall how long I should expect flower to be? The clone I took is doing well vegging in the auto tent.

Looking very nice, good work! Right around 9 weeks once you spot multiple pistils.
