Sour Diesel crossed with Snow Lotus? Where’d those beans come from? I haven’t heard of Bodhi making that cross, must be from someone else?

They were sent to me to distribute to the U.K./Eu, though I’ll be sending them to the other members who’re waiting on them.
( iv been hit by a flu ( but need to isolate for a bit - just in case …).!

My second run on these Chizpa. Supposed to be Sour Diesel crossed with an unknown Haze.
Here is the last run
Just not getting any sour or D taste out of them.
Have 2 of @Mongobongo SD x SL in veg now and hope for a girl to try that.
If not the next try will be with JOTi Blue City Diesel (Sour Platinum Edition) I have.

Notwithstanding the lack of expected tastes and smells, do the effects seem like the real deal?
I’ve not been aggressively looking for a SD like I was but I’m looking nonetheless. I’ve not found much to get excited about.
My guess is that someone on OG has what I’m looking for in their stash. At least I hope so.

The first run I had a lot of issues as you can see by the bud but I would say it’s more like a old school sativa and not much of a punch to it. Nice for a clear daytime smoke and I don’t have a lot of that. This run is more dialed in so hoping if there is something there it will come out.

Very interesting those huge calyx. I found a number of that type of big calyx pheno hunting some Wolfpack F2 I made. I couple of them that had those huge calyx were a dead match to SD .

I found what you are looking for in the Wolfpack F2 I made . Thousands were given out here along with Pura Vida F2 that @nube made. Maybe someone who got them would be willing to part with them.

Just thought I’d type some early impressions of those three Headbangers I chopped a few weeks ago. Here are some pics:

I chopped all of them on day 73, but I probably should’ve let them go another 7-10 days. And I only say that because once I started trimming them, after about 8 days of drying, there was really a lot of sort of “larfy” nugs on the lower maybe two-thirds of every plant. It took me a reeealllyyyy long time to get them all cleaned up, longest it’s ever taken me to trim three plants. I think if I’d have let them go another week, some of those lowers might’ve filled out a little more.
They’ve been curing for 15 or 16 days, but I’ve been trying the nugs from the #2 for the last 11 days haha. That one, the #2, was the one that most reminded me of Sour Diesel while she grew, as far as smells were concerned. And smoking, her, too, really reminds me of Sour Diesel. Honestly, if I didn’t know what it was that I was smoking, I’d feel confident guessing it was SD. She is definitely very sour, but she doesn’t really have that fuel-y/funky thing going on that real Sour has. Also doesn’t have that mouth-coating flavor that lingers in your mouth for 20, 30 minutes after smoking her, that flavor that keeps evolving and getting more delicious. But she tastes real good. I noticed yesterday after doing a couple bong rips that there was an earthy flavor coupled with the sour. I’m sure the flavors will keep changing the longer she cures; hopefully I can find a little fuel/funk eventually.
The high’s real good, a true “any time”-type of weed. It’s great weed to smoke during the day, as there isn’t any sort of hard-core crash on the comedown. It kind of just slowly leaves my body after a couple three hours. And when I smoke it at night, it relaxes me and helps me fall asleep. It seems to me that the high depends on my energy level at the time of smoking. If it’s during the day, when I have more energy, it’s a day-time weed. But when I smoke it at night, when I’m winding down, it helps me wind down further.
I’m really pleased with the #2, looking forward to trying the other two. I just want them to cure for a liiiiiittle bit longer, like maybe five days, before I start checking them out. I don’t usually start fucking with my weed until it’s been curing for at least three weeks, but I couldn’t wait with the #2.
Oh, and here’s a pic of some #2 nugs:
They don’t really look like Sour, with those wiry pistils and the bright green, bulbous calyxes and the dark green leaves and all, but she’s close in the flavor and high departments. Definitely worth a few grows. I still have 31 seeds to go through, pretty curious to see if I can find something even closer…

Is 4 and 5 not sour/fuely enough, or are they completely different? Thinking about grabbing some headbanger from attitude.

Well, none of them turned out fuel-y. All of them are sour to varying degrees. The #5 actually is the best-tasting pheno I got, but it doesn’t taste anything like Sour Diesel. It actually tastes more “classic OG”: spicy on the inhale, very floral on the exhale, with a bit of sourness at the very end.
They are definitely worth a few runs (if not more), though. It’s really, really good weed. I grow completely organic, too, which tends to bring out different flavors than something grown hydroponically. Just something to keep in mind. I still have a lot of seeds left, otherwise I’d be grabbing more of them.

Growing one of these Dominion Diesels now it’s amazing so far. Grew a huge stinky outdoor male last year had to kill it tho sad.

I made the mistake of ordering Nirvana’s Sour Diesel. I ran five a while back and was wholly disappointed. About as close to Sour Diesel as Purple Kush is.
Going through the vault I came across the rest of the pack. I said to myself, “Mambo, let’s run these clunkers and see what happens.
Ten seeds - five SD and five Great Lakes Haze x Alien Cookies. All five of the GLH sprouted and look amazing. All five of the SD did nothing.
Never again. But I still want some Sour Diesel. I even bought some from the dispo to see how it was. Hot garbage with little SD.

I had ran some of rezdogs sour d back in 2010-2011 and it was some amazing smoke. I wish I had pics but I lost it all when I got locked up. Finding that is on my list after I scratch my kush itch. Hopefully something similar comes from jotis blue City Diesel. But there’s some winners to be had from rez’s. It’s a shame things went down the way they did with him. That would of been one of the first orders I had made when I started again.
