I put most of the nets up before the plants go in . Four layers at the top and drop as needed zip ties are your friend . If they spread outward and need some more support I wrap the plants zip tying only on top and let the ag nets drape the plant and makes it easy to feed tops through and prevents heavy branches from breaking if they get wet from rain . I have the holes about a foot apart where nets attach and six inches apart to fasten to T post four holes will do it .
Thanks for the information @gramps that’s what I’ll do
Feeding today every second watering 4 table spoons 4 - 26 - 26 Sea Grow . Man it could possibly be the bowl of Blueberry Muffin before feeding but looks like the Lady’s are loving it . Keeping a close watch for any changes like color tip burn leaf curl or looking like a Taco . Also a pic of spreading a Top everyone gets their own square . When they reach the net .
If imay ask what is this caused by or how do you prevent it ir fix it
Indoors too close to lights excessive heat and humidity . Or this from HIGH TIMES These are the classic symptoms of a Calcium and Magnesium deficiency. If you’ve been adding a Cal/Mag supplement, then it’s possible you have nutrient lockout due to pH fluctuation. Typically, low pH levels will cause the plant to become unable to take in Magnesium and result in the kinds of problems you’re describing. Most nutrient formulations contain enough of these micronutrients for this not to be a problem, so raising your pH level from somewhere in the high 5’s to more like 6.2-6.5 in soil and 6.0-6.3 in a hydroponic reservoir usually will do the trick.
If pH is not the issue, you can add a Calcium and Magnesium additive solution found at any grow shop or online. This is preferable to Epsom Salts and other homemade remedies, and new leaf growth should come out green and un-crinkled. I recommend Suite Leaf’s Cal-Mag Maximizer, a naturally-organic Calcium and Magnesium additive that works in hydroponic and soil applications So far I have never had this problem knock on wood . Sounds like things in excess cause green tacos .
Thank you! I am now smarter for asking! we have had so much rain i have not had to water but 3 times my plants are in 3 gallon pots when i watered i used tap water ph 7
I also wonder if this is a natual part of rodelization. We had a heavy rain and i was afraid of mold today so decided to chop 1 and all this fox tailing was hiding nanners all over the place she was trying to procreate herself
Depending what you are downwind of - rain can be acidic.
Yes, I am suggesting you check the pH your rainwater… Sounds nuts but…
Cheers

Feeding again and heavy watering temps going back up around the high 90s maybe a 100 degrees . All my plants seem to love the heat . Big fans have all turned yellow and dropping into the bags organic mulch . My pathways are slowly being overgrown I’m starting to snake through my jungle .My plants genetics are from the Emerald Triangle of Northern California land of the Giants . Up in the North Coastal Redwoods some of the most beautiful forest in the world . And miles of unspoiled deserted beaches Its a must see .
Early this morning I gave the girls a little squeeze I’m getting a lemon citrus smell from the Bling it may finish to a gassy but also sweet and floral with hints of lime. I did my test after a bowl of AFG ? thats what’s on the jar so might need a retest
Another morning in the jungle after watering the humidity jumps with temps around 90 Degrees . I was tying branches with hemp twine up into the nets to help support long branches . Then I wrap the plant loosely to help support itself . Now their giant green balls with hundreds of bud sites that will turn into giant colas I hope .
My biggest one is only half that size, maybe. It’s started flowering so we’ll see. I never grew Sunshine Daydream outside.
Yours are like the botanical gardens. Lol
Nice Xmas tree . Are you going to cage it ?
Probably not. That stuff in the pic is for camouflage. The plant is visible from the road and we’ve recently had some sketchy young peeps move in the neighborhood.
Those are from small fence sections I took down since I moved in. It would be easy to wrap one but I got the stems pretty strong.
The plant I grew a couple of years ago was around 7.5 feet tall and a bigger Christmas tree. It had 12-14 inch colas on the end of every stem and I didn’t support any of it.
I hope the buds get that big on her. I have another plant in place where the tree grew 2 years ago and it’s getting large fast. It’s an AK47/Northern Lights x Super Skunk… I got her in late but boy has she ever doubled. Not sure what to expect. I’ve seen lots of indoor grows of it and it’s classy. It’s called Phuuu’s IPA. Supposedly it has mostly myrcene for terps and smells just like a good IPA beer.
She’s a beauty gonna be a half pound or more of primo buds off her ,mine indoors gave 5 zips each they were 5 ft tall.
I don’t want to hijack Gramps’ thread, but I think @GMan’s summertime Christmas tree will put out several pounds of primo buds. Gramps’ plants will put out MANY pounds of massive buds. I grew an indoor Sunshine Daydream x Aborigine and pulled a little over 10.25 oz’s. and it was a fraction of the size of Gman’s.
Here she is:
Indoor, my foot!!! You pulled that baby from outside for a “Photo-Op”. Just kidding, hell of a plant!!! CONGRATS, @Purple-N-Hairy!!! Stay safe/be well.
Beautiful work chief those Bodhi Genetics are pure fire
Watered twice today early morning along with feeding and this evening . Super hot 100s and rolling blackouts on wells here need electricity to pump . I can water with gravity but slow .
I should have checked here first I fed my plants again two days in a row . As big as they have become it most likely won’t matter I’m feeding every other day when I remember . So home alone today so I loaded the pipe with Blue Dream I’ve become such a stoner . It’s taken me 74 years practice makes perfect . And a bud shot already sticky and starting to stack . 10 feet and still heading up even in this heat over 100 today their growing through my top net maybe I should stop feeding .
