Exceptional growth and color @Gramps. Mighty fine job!
I just have a question @Gramps. What is your view on low and high yielding plants, and do they produce the same potency on average?
What I have grown over the last few years have been high yielding and top shelf high quality smoke . No complaints lol . I donât send to the labs to test but I have had my grows tested by others all smiles .
I believe u gramps. Im just wondering from a seasoned veteran like urself if bigger plants mean lesser quality? I grew old school AK 47 for six years straight and it always finished mid September with about a pound dry and others that produced twice as much but half as good. Just wondering your thoughts on that
Its all genetics big or small I like to grow big plants because Iâm set up to do so . But small plants can and do have high potency . I grow whatâs on sale mostly seeds or clones four or five strains all pot shop N. California . Iâve grown indoor types outdoors with high yields and primo smoke growing in the big bags . I havenât tried an auto yet outdoors with room to grow but maybe next season Iâm pushing the limit now . This is my first feminized seed grow this season and I really like whatâs happening so far maybe to big .
Hope things cool off for you soon. Itâs hot here again and for a full week ahead it looks like. And no rain. Watering is working me out.
Love your plants. Theyâre telling you that everything is just right. No need to stop growing now, lol. I wonder if theyâll stretch much in flower, ha. Can you imagine. Call that one Jack, as in the beanstalk type! Best vibes on the fall coming up.
As long as the airport doesnât make you stick lights on them youâll be ok!
Hey Gramps, I was wondering if there is a limit or average amount used of nets per plant? I noticed I think 3 or 4 per big plant. Is it basically however many the plant requires and that the way you have ur T Posts with their PVC extensions set up, that it affords the ability to add or subtract nets as needed? I know you said you put the nets at top and drop as needed, just dont remember reading if there was a set number of nets or not. Thanks for the info and I donât think its any secret, YOU ARE A GIFTED GARDENER!
Best
Four at the top and one at the bottom to start and help keep animals from climbing my plants . Then I wrap all the way around after they start spreading to help support . It also helps tangle rippers so you can beat them with a shovel lol .
Thatâs obviously a âtried and trueâ technique for you and one that you must have used MANY a season Iâd presume! GRAMPS, YOUâRE A MOTIVATOR TO US ALL AND THANKS FOR THAT! I KNOW thats been rung in ur bell but I just wanna reiterate!
A week and a half of smoke from all the fires here in N. California its like half sun . But my girls donât seem to mind Iâm going to be in trim hell this fall . First photo is a Vanilla Frosting from a clone a little behind last season but has over 200 tops that are starting to stack . And a couple of pics of the bling that has not slowed I may need a bigger ladder .
awesome trunk!! excellent bushes too great wok!!!
a pleasure to see your work hermano !
The out of hand illegal grow next door has brought code enforcement to my place by mistake sat photos place the 100 foot long greenhouse next door on my side of the line . I need to call Monday morning or face a $1000 Dollar a day fine for non compliance . For illegal grading and construction and way over the limit growing on their part . They harvested one run and replanted in a weeks time fully automated light dep over $100,000 thousand invested . Now I might have to chop half of my grow depending on what rules my medical falls under all new regs. Its going to hurt chopping my fat girls before their time .
Wtf that is terrible news! Are you friends with the neighbours?
shoot !! that sucks big time Gramps⌠thats sad
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can get the people who own that neighboring property to strike their greenhouse before it gets you fâed over.
Wtf that is terrible news! Are you friends with the neighbours?
I kind of had the opposite thought⌠do you think they purposefully put in on your property to avoid legal responsibility for that greenhouse?
Have seen some malicious property line squabbles in norcal.
A native friend who is a fishing guide had an aggressive white neighbor who would repeatedly build illegal structures just outside his own property line, and then move the fences. He blocked my friend off from his own property, and then when the cop/ county showed up, he would blame my friend because it was technically on that side of the property line.
County would make the neighbor tear down the structure and move the fencing back.
Repeat every year, until that guy finally moved out.
Another friend moved to Grass Valley, and bought a piece of land which had been used to shoot Bonanza in the 60âs. The guy who played Hoss retired there. They bought that property for a very low price. Turned out there was a heavily armed radical militia in the area, who would make incursions on her property while armed with automatic weapons and explosives. They said they were conducting âdrills,â and the local law enforcement simply looked the other way because the militia was too well armed for them to risk confrontation.
So theyâre illegally growing on your property, which seriously threatens your grow and your wallet? I have a remedy; it might seem severe, but so are the consequences youâre currently facing. Tell them they have no time left after you finish gassing up. It will definitely be worth the price of the rental!
Iâm not friends with the unknown owner I think thereâs just workers staying there . The greenhouse corner on one side is about five feet from my line . I donât speak Spanish and donât have anything to do with them . I really donât care whatâs going on over the fence but they may have some unwanted armed visitors kicking their door in . When I looked at the sent photos it looks like itâs my greenhouse from the angle you canât see the neighbors house but you can sure see my house . I have a 4wheel drive road that goâs right next to their grow that we use to check our cows so from the air it leads right to my back door . The county has already tagged this grow last season new operators / leasers this year . I told the builders that they were real close to the line but they were already paid cash and could care less about setbacks not their problem I guess . I seen the helicopter hovering over my place and the greenhouse a month ago with open doors and a camera mounted on the side no numbers or markings that I could see .
my mother lived in the country on a large wooded lot and the neighbour took land from her
by building a garage which she couldnât see and ten years later that land under his building was legally his - really fucked up - he knew perfectly what he was doing
walk your perimeters every once in a while !!
