We have a few we are waiting to finish up. One bagseed that we so not know where it came from still has clear. It hasn’t changed a bit in a week, we may just pull it soon.

Up here in Illinois we have one hell of a frost right now. And the forcast is cold. I’m gonna have to jerk the rest of what’s on my plants today. No more growing weather ahead of us

Gotta love the fall weather though. :deer:

On thread topic, I was just thinking about this. If I ever want to complain when I’m in trim jail, I just need to come look at gramps pictures. :joy:

It’s all over here. We dropped to 30 last night and we’re going to be getting them much more now. I got all of my plants cut yesterday. I’ve been taking them apart piece by piece to trim and a good bit is already curing.

I have a few days now of non stop trimming to get them put away. I have to leave for a few days on Monday. I’ve been at it all week or more. Everything went really well for me this year. I have close to a pound of SSDD buds trimmed and put up for curing. I’m really happy about that, and I have another third of the plant to add to it.

I blew trimming off the last few runs because of one thing or another, mostly too many seeds to screw with it or it dried out too much too fast. Things can dry completely out on you here if you aren’t careful.

I nailed it this year. I wet trimmed the plants mostly and then hung them on the closthesline outside. I literally only had them hanging for about 2.5 days and was able to take all of the buds off the limbs and right in to jars or bags.

Now, I can control the curing from here on and it’s just right. I used to hang plants for a week. It’s just bone dry around here these days so I’m so glad I had the time to do it all just right.

I did have one of the large plants pick up some light PM at the end and ended up washing every limb in a bucket of Green Cure. It worked so much better than just baking soda and lemon.

I have my day laid out for me now. I had to put all of the limbs left still hanging into buckets and boxes last night to keep from freezing. So, so far so good for me. It’s been a couple of years since I could say that. Mostly the dryness will get you here if you aren’t ready. Once it dries out completely there’s no going back to get it moist to cure. That’s what happened to me the last two years. I was ready this year!

Hope you get to come up for some air @gramps! I’ll think of you while I’m doing the same thing for the next three to four days straight. peace

Yeah, those are hefty buds. Mine won’t get that big here outside. Close, but it’s so dry they seem to stay smaller.

Those buds have been hanging for two weeks they were a lot bigger lol . They felt solid when chopped they still have a citrus smell I tried a little snip straight to the head long lasting high maybe a little to much at first a little pine taste on the way out .

Still working on the vanilla frosting over 300 tops and still a lot of golf ball sized solid bud the nets are sagging in the drying shed way more than I need . A lot of great jars of xmas gifts . If you have a long outdoor growing season and want weight these girls get fat . About 12 hours on one plant to pre trim before hanging .

I’m going to get it going eventually, and I’m gonna share half with @misterbee. He may not like 2 liter sized colas, but I bet he’ll quietly deal with it … I’m sure gonna try to wrestle some to the finish.

My trim fest is basically over. I have a little tomorrow and will have to come back in a few days to finish the final trim on one plant. I got about 3 lbs. total of trimmed, and dried bud from the two 6 foot plants and about 3/4 lb. from the small potted plants. I have my winter/yearly stash to smoke until next summer, and Christmas stocking stuffers. I’m not sure on running the HPS all winter this year for more. Only the small closet to keep the sativa rolling.

Best vibes on the rest of the trimming. Lots of good music and a good beer or iced tea and you’ll be good to go all day.

I have grid tied solar so no electric bill but I still run low cost LEDs when I use my tent . Now you can enjoy the fruits of your labor . Still in the high 80s here I’m still watering every day crazy hot for this time of the year.
