Gramps Out Door Garden

The Blue Dream from Dark Heart will yield big, supposedly the Santa Cruz cut. I think that’s what Gramps is growing.

That one is setting up to be a 10 footer. It’s gonna look like the one you showed us earlier; big and fat. Hard to believe you’re gonna be that hot but we were pretty hot by this time last year. We’re getting a good bit of rain this spring and temps have stayed pretty cool. 57º right now and gonna start raining for a day and a half by noon or so. The damn heater will be running again by tomorrow. The good side is it’s really green this year compared to the last couple. Lots of flowers and it smells so good all over. The hail storms have been pretty active but nothing real big yet. Still early, too.

Hope that heat moves out quick, but that’s not the way heat waves work normally. Steer clear of those heli-warriors. Damn. I’d hate to have that sort of pressure. I’ve been there before, too. Scared the shit out of me and I cut the whole crop the next day, back in the Appalachians. Never had anyone come by thank goodness, and the plants were done by then, too. I got lucky all the way around. peace

Fed and watered today just shy of six feet tall may have slowed growth a little with the 90+ degree days lately . Fighting new bugs tree hoppers and leaf hoppers just picking them off very little damage so far .

Another day on the ranch they raided the neighbors red lights sirens and guns drawn . I don’t think they arrested anyone they just chopped all the plants and ripped all the plastic off the hoop houses . A lot of noise and glass breaking and warnings being shouted I was afraid to move . I was working in the garden and watering :worried: . Multiple agency’s and Fish and Wildlife they were in and out .

OMG - that sounds heart-pounding! I bet you didn’t relax until they all drove away and out of the area.

I remember you had to cull part of your crop last year to be compliant, right? Is it safe to assume you’re already compliant this year and didn’t need to worry about any extra plants?

Side note: I don’t live in a legal state, so when I heard about 10 sirens approach from a distance and park in front of my house, then saw flashing red and blue lights light up my front and back yard - I was instantly terrified. I didn’t know what to do, but eventually found the strength to go to a back bedroom and peek out the window to see what was happening. Fire trucks! Turns out, the neighbor across the street had a chimney fire. WHEW! Talk about an adrenaline dump!

I had a bad feeling when the ghetto birds were hovering over my place and the neighbor’s a while back . I just hope the little guy with the machete isn’t hiding in the brush on my place . I locked all my dogs in the house just incase they raided me for six plants . I just smoked a big bowl just before this all happened some hard hitting Romulan oh shit .

This is the fourth time this same property has been raided they just keep trying . So much money involved and wasted again . I’m thankful they got the right driveway they were in and out in less than 2 hours looks like hundreds of plants chopped and laying on top of the bags . and all the plastic on the ground . The next big wind and all this stuff will be flying over the fence .

The metal pipes sticking out of the ground is where the old fully auto forever flowering green house stood another failed attempt at riches .

That’s quite a garden your neighbors had.
Took a bit to clear that out.
Be careful and don’t sweat them.
They got bigger fish to fry. :peace_symbol:

Now that’s weird. I mean, that isn’t a 10,000 plant guerilla grow in the middle of nowhere. I wonder why they half-assed it and didn’t completely chop down everything. Weird.

Gramps, are you able to take those pics from your property, or did you walk over to take a look? Also, is there an occupied house on that property?

I walked down and took the pics over my fence and yes there’s a couple of modular homes . They chopped 99 % and left a couple of the smallest plants . They left all the hoops also new plants and plastic and there right back at it still plenty of time Lol . Fill those bags with autos . There was another hoop house right next to my garden I was afraid to move until law enforcement multiple agency’s were done and I could finish watering . The sad part first neighbor in years that was Quiet it was like the old days .
