You know you are doing it right when you need a ladder to trim!:clap::clap:

Hope you can have somebody holding that ladder. Those things can throw you off so fast.

Were those colored colas Rom or BD?

I had some late aphids come in and they’re brownish gray ind furry looking to the naked eye. They only seem to be on one plant, the Malana. It’s almost finished and it got seeded so no emergency. I’ll be spraying all of the newer plants again when it comes out. Stay safe! peace

That’s the Blue Dream the aphids are attracted to the yellow fans I hope they eat all the leaf it will make my job easier lol . When I trim it gets rid of most of the aphids I don’t see any on the bud . It rained like hell last night and washed a few away this has been aphid hell this season maybe its drought related . They seem to like the Blue Dream the best very few on the Romulan and none on the Banana Mango that I let grow for a second cut the first harvest yield was 400 tops hanging from the Banana Mango .

Looks like the storm door is open for the next week I sprayed the blue dream for aphids last night . I hope the rain will wash away all the dead and dying I harvested 8 tops just incase things go south with the storms . I checked with a loupe after the wet trim I don’t see anything on the bud moving or not lol . Should be enough to fill a two quart jar or two after hang .

Big storm tonight wind and heavy rain so far the rain has been easy on the girls . I took a little second cutting on one of the Banana Mangos solid sticky bud still swelling . I hope the Blue Dream survives the pounding that’s on the way I took a couple more tops . Banana Mango first three photos .

Hey @gramps, when you harvest this main cola, would you please post a pic of it after you’ve cleaned it up? Ideally, with a beer bottle, milk jug or 2 liter bottle next to it for scale. I know it’s gonna be big!!

Also - good luck to you and all the ladies (include the Mrs!) tonight during the storm.

The ladies were beat down and drenched over 8 inches of rain and wind gust 40 - 50 miles per hour over the last 24 hours . New record rainfall in one day since the 1800 hundreds for October I’ll let the Blue Dream

dry out a little for a couple of days then chop .

They look real tired, Poor Girls, beautiful long leafs.
Hope they feel better in a couple days!

hope you were safe! Winds and rain were crazy where I’m at too. Assuming we’re probably pretty close. Had a neighbor have their tree get blown over and destroy their fence! :fearful:

Couple of days of sun started chopping the Blue Dream more rain on the way . I’m not sure if the Blue Dream is worth all the work it’s hell to trim real leafy . I’ll chop enough to fill some jars just taking the big tops off one plant today .

Wow, they look like they took a beating. Sometimes the wind will break them when they’re weighted down from the rain. I bet your bugs are gone, though. Man, what a bodacious harvest you have this year. Be safe and enjoy! peace
