I have all the girls out sunbathing today 64 deg and bright sun . A nice breeze moving them around a bit getting them ready for the real world .
Tis the season. Looking forward to seeing you grow some more monsters.
Ssdd did good for me outside. No bud rot or pm issues @GMan. I, too, am looking forward to seeing your grow gramps!!
I have 3 females. I should keep one to go outside. I was going to flip them tonight, but need to wait one more day. That would work. Two go into flowering and one goes into a big pot and then the ground. They are set to go either way. They really look good.
These are f2s from a forum friend in South Dakota from six years ago when I first got back into growing… The only other three I grew out as females were really good plants and smoke. I got the famed sour butter pheno in those 3. Unfortunately it was the smallest one, in a 1 gallon pot and no clones. But, these 3 are stout as hell and will give good smoke I bet.
I already have been taking them outside some days for the intense sun. hmmm. They really like it outside, too. I’ll be starting a thread.
I moved the Bling outdoors to finish getting used to the real world . These lady’s are taking off I might go ahead and plant the weather has sure warmed up fast . * Breeder: Humboldt Seed Company and Happy Dreams Farm
- Type: Indica Dominant
- Genetics: Humboldt Frost x Reserve OG x Humboldt Gelato
- THC %: 20% – 24.99%, 25% +
It’s beautiful… like the circle of cannabis life. I’ll bring my own garden chair if you would like me to plant sit for you.
Are those plants sitting on top of a huge one plant pot for later?
I’m going to be getting things ready here. We have a likely freeze this week on two nights maybe. I’m holding back one SSDD f2 female to grow outdoors. The other two went into flower tonight. Things are coming on fast! Best vibes on the new season! peace
Bookmarked !!
looking forward to the Garden show
That’s one of my 400 gal pots 1 lady to a bag they can really spread their roots .
I knew it was big… You could tell the plant was happy in dirt heaven. Do the pots hold up more than a year? It seems like it would be a lot of pressure on fabric.
I was looking at some fabric pots at the grow shop. 200g was the biggest one I looked at. So, I suppose you start with a super soil/kiss type of mix and run it no till from then on?
We’re starting out in a drought already. It may decide what size plants I try and run outside. Trying to water my way out of it gets pricey here.
I have used those big bags 4 seasons and they were used when I got them . Some of them have a sandy loam mix in them and others are organic compost . I just climb in with a shovel and turn the soil just being careful not to punch a hole in the sides . I have 400 / 300 / 200 / 150 they all work great but the big bags take a couple of yards of soil . We use bags for food production also they work better than our raised beds . I place the bags on top of tight weaved plastic screen to keep the gophers out major problem here .That’s why I don’t grow in the ground anymore .
How exciting. Can’t wait to learn a few tips and tricks from you this season.
We have moles here… lots of moles. The lady I bought the house from put wire mesh heavy duty screen under all plantings and raised beds. The moles seem to be worse this spring over the last few years.
Planting outside today slight chance of rain over the next few days I think the girls will love it . The Bling 2 ft they look small in those giant 400 gal bags tallP5100546|666x499
Are you able to use your local soil mostly?
Its all imported some was gifted to me . But the local soil works fine with a little help like manure .
I dropped the first net to help keep all the critters out I hope . Fresh turned dirt attracts cats and other wild life . Its been raining a little and cooled off but the growth is vigorous gained another 6 inches in four days ? The Bling from feminized seed first try for me so far I’m liking the growth .
How long have you had the Romulan ?
Chair pulled up outdoors is my favorite to watch
The Romulan were 6 - 8 inch clones when I got them I had them under LEDs for a month and planted them today about 16 inches tall and another rain storm on the way .
She looks all lonely in that Hugh pot! Looking forward to be seeing big healthy girls come sept/October!
