Gramps Out Door Garden

Good evening gramps. I was thinking about how to support plants outdoor. I thought of your monster plants and was wondering what you did for supporting the plants. Just lay nets on them as they grow? Thanks in advance.

I have the nets zip tied to the tops of T Posts and drop them down as needed . Easy to adjust and spread branches to let the sun in . The first layer is to keep animals out I hope .

Intersting. And the netting is enough support for the plants?

Outdoor is one word - but it doesnt matter that is a fucking tree!

Yes super strong and you can use hemp twine from the net down to any branch that needs extra help . Last week I tripped and broke a large branch I pulled it back against the main stalk with twine now healing and looking good .

Awesome. Ill have to take that technique into consideration. I was going to make a circle around the plants with 4 inch wire fence but this idea sounds more manageable

Nice cool morning with a good breeze I watered heavy on the big bags . I like the way this Romulan has taken off fat and round one month since planted .

We always used post’s that are taller then the plants then tied cola after cola up to the post then somebody thought of the brilliant idea of basically wrapping the plant with a spool of fishing line. It works great plus it’s fast and easy

Nice plants gramps. Look like some of mine. When does your harvest tie usually happen

Does the line cut into the flesh of the plant?

You can wrap your plant with ag netting fast and you can still reach in . If I need additional support I use hemp twine easy on plants just tie up into to nets super strong .
