Grease_monkeys ongoing micro grow

As far as I can tell it still isnt showing sex. I keep reading about alternating nodes is a sign of maturity, non of my million look like they are alternating. Everywhere I think I see a pollen sack starting it just turns into new growth lol

You would have thought it would be alternating by now, I blew the pic up, and all I can say is, you need to clean your finger nails :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.

Lol you needed to zoom in for that? I had just walked through the door after work, no time to shower plants are first

I’ve cleaned and bleached the interior, put in my new 7 socket fixture… only 6 work but atleast the dead one is by the computer fan so no big deal. I also replaced the shitty old dryer ducting with new plastic stuff which I had to wrap in a garbage bag due to light penetration.

I’m debating whether to transplant to a large pot at the risk of running out of height. The plant still needs to be tied down and trimmed before I go any further I’m just trying to figure out if it’s worth reporting to a slightly taller 1.5 gallon or look for somthing wider the same height. Anyone with an opinion?

Aa it sits right now I probably have too much light seeing as I’m running 6 14.somthing watt (100 equiv) bulbs, 3 low spectrum (3000ish?) and 3 high (5600?)

Took some measurements I’m at 85 watts for 1.45 square feet lol

That should keep it happy won’t take long to fill up the fridge, have you flipped it yet?

Not yet, going to repot tonight then probably flip tommorow

Well its had a rough couple days, it got repotted, tied down and flipped to 12/12. Showing a bit of stress but not too bad

Well if the stress slows her down a bit, that might be a blessing in that confined space, how much higher can the lights go?

Lol that is max, if needed my only other option is to move the pot down to the area below the shelf

I’d figure with how old this plant is it should be pretty obvious on its sex… but I dunno. I’m guessing male still. @shadey , I tried not to get my fingers in the pic so as not to disgust you again hahaha.

Back to the height to the lights, this is tied and transplanted so I still have room to grow before getting worried

Looks like a girl to me ATM is it still not alternating the branches yet. It’s always hard to tell when the nodes have little spacing.

Did you try taking a cutting and flowering it?

you have inspired me, gonna pop some cackle’s

thanks!

Nice clean looking mini fridge man! I like the simplicity in design. I recently just finished a micro grow lady which looks similar. I hope you have the same good fortune with yours and cheers!

I did, and it died lol I was being cheap and picked q tiny one. So now I’ve cut a better one to veg while the plant is in 12/12

Unless I’m understanding alternating nodes wrong then no… everytime there is 1 on the right there us one on the left lol

Node spacing may be so tight it’s hard to tell.

Ya they average 3/4" between nodes lol. Just going to let her go and see

One of the reasons I bend the tops over after they hit 6tth node, gets the lower branching going, once the branch has started if you then have pistils and a ball it’s a boy, but until the branch comes out of the node it’s hard to tell.
