That what I’m going to do I have enough free time I can mess with them for a few weeks. I want them to get big. I’ll get the full power out of the octopot lol

Haha for sure flipping at three weeks they will fill the tent full lol. 4 or 5 weeks veg they will be sticking out the duct vent lol. Really trying to get more roots in the res before flipping. I feel legend going to go big at flip not sure on cap I need to look into it.

Took a peek inside one the octos a what do you know a single root about to hit the water. Just so happens to be the rain science pot. I’ll check 5he other tomorrow. Planted them into the octos last Saturday.

I haven’t check any other the other yet I’ll be getting in the in the next hour or so. But I agree you can just tell the whole plant takes on a different glow.

6 out of 8 octopots are showing roots the plants are getting that healthy color back. I tied the tops on the cap junky over for 48 hrs released them last night will tie over again tomorrow. Going let the roots fill the res then it will be time to flip.

Nice! Is the little red knob a water level indicator? I ran city picker SIPs last run and they were great but there is no way to see the water level?

Exactly the water level indicator. If your thinking about a octopot go for it hands down the easiest way to grow. There really not even that pricey they will last you as long as you want just take care of them.

I know I’m wanting to let the roots fill the res more but there pushing it. I bought some of those lst clips to try out. Maybe I did it wrong I put them up toward the top 90 degree bend next morning they was all pretty much vertical again with the clips on lol. Going to have to get the ties out I guess.
I’ve seen it around on the Internet. I can’t remember the cut name was just curious I remember you saying how good your cut is
Thanks papalag yeah that the plan the lst clips aren’t really doing what I need so I’m going to go back to the plant ties. Not really wanting to use a trellis it a pita at harvest. I need to get the bottoms cleaned up probly do it all at the same time
Im tired of doing battle with them in late flower. You will have 6.5 footers there, what i normally run. This time im going different , mini octo’s, more of them, flipping half that size…see if it can sustain itself with just one bungee net and not 100 yoyo’s and all manner of support.
