I had the same thing on my last crop pissed me off just bought that big ass bag and can’t use it I even put it in a coffee grinder before I add it to water deficiencies like you don’t ever wanna see I happen to be checking out the masters blend at the same time.
The MB plants look superb, so I said fuck it I’ll take the nute burn and switched early flower plants finished very good MC definitely needs to go to the drawing board agian. @GreenleafNutrients I have a whole 20 pound bag if you wanna refund me I’d take it you pay the shipping to ?

The 2 part works well but won’t ever try the 1 part again. Like others I had all sorts of issues with it in veg. Something about their 1 part formula that causes issues in coco up until about week 2 of flower. Then the plants seem to stabilize but at that point I want to cut out most N and that can’t be done without underfeeding the nutes needed to build up the flowers.

Could you please help me to sort one thing with my roots in DWC?
I see this nasty fogging on all roots of my plants. Is it just clogging from natural components of megacrop (I have latest version) or this is root rot? I do not notice any strong smell but i didn’t deal with it before. I use cold water and strong aeration inside my system.
If this is a problem, could you please advise me a good product to fix this and which will not disturb the balance of the solution and will not kill natural components of mg. Thank you!

Hey @serx i would just snip those roots above the dark parts ( bin them.) and the roots at the bottom of the pot will grow again with ( hopefully.Lol ) no problems …?!!

The roots above at where iv done drawn are healthy looking so cut the roots below the line 
I have cut my roots a few times, they’ll grow back quick enough…

Maybe hydrogen peroxide? Some people use mild bleach or pool shock to keep hydro clean as well, just be very careful obviously. You should be able to find lots of info here.
Theres a product called sm90 that’s really great for hydro systems too, keeps things clean and the plants really love it. I haven’t been able to find it in Canada recently so I’m not sure if they discontinued it or something.

Wow cheap too! I guess they just got rid of it in Canada or something. Grozyme (aka hygrozyme) is expensive, but also great for keeping roots clean and happy.

I only use MegaCrop in veg. 5gr gallon from 1st set of leaves to 1 week after flip. You can’t beat it for veg though.

Ya I love it for veg. I use the same amount (1.25grams/liter) with .5ml/L of calimagic and .5g/L of Epsom salts. Seems pretty bulletproof.
I should have added I’m using coco so thats why the extra calmag and epsom, I’m not sure if I’d need it using Megacrop in promix or soil.

This is the one part MC? If so any carbs in it could create some slime off coloring. Brown could also be algae and not root rot.

I use MegaCrop 1 part for veg and flower with BK 25 ProMix. I add CalMag (5-10 ml/gal depending on what the leaves look like) to it in veg and the first two weeks in flower.

Thank you. I add CalMag to the MegaCrop during veg and the first two weeks of flower. I use RO water and 1 part MegaCrop @ 1 tsp/gallon jug.
