Greenleaf Nutrients MEGA CROP Q&A/Support/Pictures/Feedback/Anything thread

Mega Crop rebuilds and recharges soil, so you can reuse soil continually. Brand new soil usually comes with a nutrient charge that gets used up fairly soon.

Thanks for getting back quickly! I was feeding them well water in veg, and just added the mega crop. Another plant showed the same weird pale green edges but I pulled it since it was a male.
Iā€™m kind of regretting using ocean forest soil now. I may need to pull my lights up also? I will appreciate suggestions from anyone. Will post pics tomorrow.

Thanks!

Sounds great! Thatā€™s the new 1 part formula, right? Do you plan to make similar changes to the 2 part? Thatā€™s what I use.

The issue with soilless media like peat and coco is they do decompose eventually and lose their structure, I donā€™t know the stats on how long it takes. Coco does take longer to break down than peat. For peat based medias if someone is reusing them you need to add lime back into the mix to bring the ph up. I believe peat in mixes like Pro Mix and Sunshine mix is naturally PH 4.5 or something like that but is loaded with lime at factory to bring up the phā€¦

yes the 1 part. No, the 2 part will stay the same without any organics. The 2 part is used for fertilizer injector systems at high concentrations, and people who want a super clean formula without any organics that can cause organic breakdown and microbe growth.

The 1 Part Mega Crop also can rebuild soil after you use it, because it contains kelp and fulvics acids.

Gotcha. Thanks for that explanation. I do have a soil grow going, so perhaps Iā€™ll eventually give the 1 part formula a try.

I flushed my plant wit three times the water necessar to fill the pot, used water from my dehudrater read at 11 ppmsā€¦waited a few days and gave a weak solutiin of mega crop and she bounced back.
By weak im using ppms, with my well water. It was running about 575 ppmā€¦with my well water running at 300 ppm straight from the tap.

Will you guys be providing updated info on your site or elsewhere on the new version from 7/1/2021? like the new additions/changes and dosage changes? Also with the new 1part will we still need sweet candy or does this new version nullify the need during flower?

hi, there was never a need to use extra products during flowering.
There is 3% Mg and 8.1% Ca in the newer formula which is updated, and also included Fulvic Acids, increased Chitosan and Kelp.

You mentioned increase phosphorus in an earlier post? I guess what Iā€™m saying is Iā€™d feel more secure in it if I had an updated formula with the new NPK ratio and included additives. The site only informs that the formula changed but doesnt reflect the new changes in the stats. Is there a way to access that information or have it provided? Also will the feeding schedule change since you have implied you added ingredients to nullify the need to add sweetcandy or bud explosion during flower to custom adjust npk?

Also you added fulvic acid, does that include humic acids as well? Or is it just the former and not the latter?

I just recieved a 25lb bag I ordered a week ago in the idea it was the new recipe and indeed the bag says it includes fulvic acid and kelp now but it doesnt reflect the magnesium and calcium levels you just stated. They are decidedly lower at 7.5% calcium and 2.7% magnesium. As well the NPK is 9-7-14 so I see the phosphorous increased by 1 but the potassium decreased by 3? How will this affect flowering since the nitrogen now is closer to the level of potassium?

Here is the most updated formula

@GreenleafNutrients apologies as this is the MegaCrop thread, but can you confirm if the following is the most recent breakdown of your Bud Explosion PK Booster?

Until you hear from Greenleafā€¦

From their website.

  • New updated formula NPK 0-33-37 + Magnesium (updated 6/13/2020). Still using old bag 0-26-37 minimum analysis. Higher P/K ratio allows for higher performance and concentration.

Also
They did not mention the sulfer and mag percentages. Could have changed.

They have a habit of using outdated packaging for new products. I understand why they do it, but it can cause some confusion.

Thanks GT. Yeah, trying to hunt down confirmations on all these points. They have a history of making updates to products but being a little behind on updating their site info and vice versa. Wanna know what Iā€™m getting into before making the purchase.

I was curious.

Elemental PPM. Per gram, per gallon.

Latest. 0-33-37

0-34-34 version.

Older BE formulas, from back when I used Megacrop 1 part.
(slamming the K! - not good for most folks including myself)

Some growers use MKP to boost the levels. No mg or sulfer.

Excellent breakdown. Makes me wonder why they dropped the PK (modestly) in the new 0-33-37 formula?

Such a minor difference, could have been by mistake. Operator error.

Plan and mix for a batch of 0-34-34, but it actually came out and tested at 0-34-37.
