I have been using Mega Crop for about four years. It has taken some time to get it dialed in. What has been working for me is 1 tsp. MegaCrop and 5 ml. CalMag per gallon of RO water @pH 6.0 Medium is ProMix BK 25
I use that mix from veg to harvest. The pictures are the flower room. I run 9 plants and harvest one plant per week. Harvest one at 9 weeks and add one to replace the harvested plant.

Will try 5ml cal mag in future , always wary of going higher than 1.5ml but always have cal mag problems later in the grow .edit replied to wrong thread sorry .
hi all. Just wanted to update that we do have our new Mega Crop 3lb/1.3kg size in stock in USA, Canada, and UK.
(other EU and Australia coming soonâŚ)
If anyone wants a sample bag we have a website coupon code with at least 50% of the new size you can order from our regional websites. Also you can shoot me a DM if you are an experienced member and we will send you out a bag for free if you havenât received one yet.
Here is the nutritional content of the updated formula
I used your Sweet Candy along with foxfarm nutes on last years outdoor. I was impressed. Outdoor 2023 My Gauntlet thread. I will be using Mega Crop 2 A, B and Sweet Candy.
interesting! The Sweet Candy has tons of organics in it for outdoor. We are also updating our 2 Part (improving) which should be available around May expected!
I do have a question for you. Iâve never had to PH anything. My tap is neutral. I amend my 30-gallon pots of Coco/Peat/Perlite with Powdered Dolomite lime. Will your Mega Crop 2- part A and B buffer to my neutral tap? Also I plan on using my foxfarm bushdoctor supplements. Microbe, Kelp Me Kelp You, Cal Mag they come PHâd at 6.5. Will Mega Crop 2 part A and B buffer the same as the Sweet Candy did.?
I plan on ditching Foxfarm Grow and Big Bloom. For your Mega Crop 2 part A and B. I will use Tiger Bloom for flower, with Sweet Candy like last years grow.
Hello @GreenleafNutrients!
Ok, I am using the single part mega crop, and I am paranoid that I am not getting an consistent proportion of beads to fine dust in each batch of nutes I mix. I donât want to get halfway through and find I have used up all of one or the other, and not have a balanced mix throughout. I have most of a 3lb bag left.
My question is, can I mix this with a gallon of water, and just proceed to use it like liquid nutes? This would allow me to get an equal amount of everything, every time I mix a batch. If so, how long would it last on the shelf?
Edit: So I just searched this thread and apparently it is fine to make a concentrate. One more question, how concentrated can I make it? Can I put a whole 3lb bag in a gallon jug and top it off with water? Or is there a point where itâll start dropping out?
Be careful doing this, youâll have various things precipitating out of your solution which will then be unavailable for uptake by your plants. Thereâs a reason all high calcium liquid nute solutions are 2 part bottles.
You can only go so concentrated before this becomes a problem, unfortunately I donât know how much is too much. But Iâve tried it and ultimately you end up with a layer of sludge at the bottom of your container, and itâs not undissolved MC, itâs precipitate that wonât redissolve.
