Greenleaf Nutrients MEGA CROP Q&A/Support/Pictures/Feedback/Anything thread

oh, I believe the zipper needs to be opened the other way, from the backside. Maybe they should make the markings more clear on that !

Can you please direct me, link me or otherwise provide the details regarding this current batch of nutrients specifically, since I donā€™t wanna be mixing this based on the ā€œoldā€ package recommended doses.

Iā€™d like to know what Iā€™m dosing is actually correctā€¦

Or are we still gonna dose at the same recommended instructions written on the ā€œpotentially old bagsā€ ?

Thanks :+1: @GreenleafNutrients

Been using the 1 part MC for years, because it works. And I donā€™t need to have the skills to ā€œreadā€ the plant and what sheā€™s trying to tell me.

But with time comes wisdom right, heā€™ll I just bought my first ever bottle of calmag in the last decadeā€¦

I donā€™t push hard though, 600ppm is about topped out for meā€¦ even less on autos

I see a lot of people are making a stock solution for ease of use. I just wanted to chime in (free bump) and state that the organic materials and innoculants would theoretically start to degrade the moment they are made wet.

Knowing how quickly this product absorbs moisture is one thing, but if youā€™re keeping a stock solution for week(s) at a time I might consider this more closely.

A few members blocked me because of this thread, and so Iā€™d just like to help the few that havenā€™t yet!!

If someone canā€™t figure out how to keep dry nutrients ā€œDRYā€ Then they have more problems to address than moisture.

yes this is true. Also, the current Mega Crop 1 part doesnā€™t like to be mixed at too much of an extreme concentrate (this is our next goal for future updates). If you mix a liquid concentrated stock, 20x is probably the most you want to go for now. Also if you do, make sure to stir/mix up immediately before use, so you get an even mixture of everything.

Once the concentrate is diluted down to final form, some of the small bits that arenā€™t soluble (gypsum) will eventually start to dissolve so donā€™t worry too much about these.

Letā€™s say you live on the coast. How would you keep MC dry? Iā€™d personally attempt to keep the bag sealed and add desiccant packets, but even in my 40% RH basement I have Jackā€™s Finish (for example) seize up on me while sealed within two bags, and surrounded by calculator sized packs of desiccant, while Jackā€™s Hydro, CalNit, and Epsom are happily stored in the same environment (less the packets) for years and years. Itā€™s just the nature of having so much ā€œgood stuffā€ in an all-in-one.

Likely the bag didnā€™t seal 100%. One of the problem with zip seal bags, is powder can get in the zipper, and prevents it from making a 100% seal. As long as the seal is ok, it should last indefinitely pretty much.

As a second alternative, you could use like a 5 gallon bucket with one of the screw lids, and put everything inside. It can fit a lot and should keep a pretty good seal.

@ifish I had a thought occur to me this morning. When I sent Greenleaf my PM with my email address and country they replied giving me my username for registering. I had been trying it by using my email address (registering) and having the same problem weā€™ve discussed. BUT letā€™s say for instance my email address is Grambler@gmail.com what they sent to me via PM was to register using just Grambler as my user name and in doing so it worked for me.

Bro since Royal mail was hacked and held to ransom its a total b#stard to post anything over seas from the uk. Donā€™t know if receiving stuff is the same. They require your full details address and all now to send stuff out the country. Makes lying on the postal information scary.
I thought @GreenleafNutrients had a uk distribution centre now??? Iā€™ve always just bought it outright without any code. Iā€™ll buy a bag next week if the offer is still on and will report back if it works for me or not.
