Maybe us Canucks are feeding off the 0-17-28 teet, or maybe CDN site needs an update. I intend to use as my sole ‘PK boost’ with MC2pt that I usually mix 5-9-12 for setting flwrs as things stand. Am a bit wary of P, and I use mycos, so I figure my P numbers can be sane. Still need to work out my ratios for using SCandy… and will need an accuratish NPK for the stuff before it goes in a SIP rez.
These got their first dose of sweet candy 5 days ago. They love it. Going outdoor around the 10th. Nursery clones

Yeah, those little rascals have a party in their roots, and pretty soon it’ll be a rager… cops will get called, walls will come down… “Housewrecker!” I can tell. Really, I can!
Hopefully GL can sort out what my CDN SC will come in at for NPK. I actually am ordering tomorrow, I didn’t pull trigger yet but I’m not hesitating, just waiting an extra day to make sure my cc payment last week has been recieved, or I’ll hit my max.
Wonder if there’s anyone about - in Canada it’d have to be - who’d be into a bud for seed trade. I’m tapped out but have lots of $THC wads and need seed! We can put 30 grams in the post here. Nice chatting with you Cole, GL. I’m here all week! (don’t eat the fish!)
Posting the latest heavy metal testing results now here. We have never had any issues in 13 years (since our founding) of Heavy Metal issues, the main reasons being
Hydroponic/Mineral/Synthetic fertilizer are simply not likely vector for contamination with heavy metals. If you know how heavy metals work, they are most likely to be found in corrupted water supplies, soil/media or accumulated by animals on the food chain and from animal products fertilizers. So dry, hydroponic type fertilizers that don’t use any animal products, are an exceptionally low risk of contamination
We source all of our raw materials from the most reputable and biggest companies in the world, and are government regulated and have impeccable track records. These factories costs $10’s of millions of dollars to start, and take production very seriously. Also as mentioned, heavy metal contamination is not really an issue if you know how these fertilizers are products, and there is continuous testing all along the way for contaminants. The Haber process for example literally gets Nitrogen from the atmosphere.
Anyways, for those concerned, we had another result produced last week from a 3rd party accredited lab that specializes in this, and the results are here and all passing with flying colors.
So for example, acceptable Arsenic levels would be 13x7, = 91ppm. Mega Crop had 0.3ppm, which is 300x below. Mercury was essentially below detection limits, and Lead was 0.062ppm, acceptable level would be 61x7 = 427. So Mega Crop levels was nearly 7000x below acceptable legal thresholds.
tl;dr dry Hydroponic/Synthetic nutrients in general are a low risk for metal contamination, we ran another test at 3rd party lab last week and results again confirm this to be the case.
Recieved my Sample Mega Crop and Sea-K, plus my purchased Sea-K and Sweet Candy extremely quickly.
Plant quite visibly appreciated the results after one day… we’re a couple more days in now and it definitely wasn’t a fluke! Plants really took off.
Don’t screw around with that kelp extract folks, it is so concentrated! Truth is, I’m not going to miss schlepping my own fresh every summer. So shoot me.
I always make 2 gallon’s worth of a %5 solution with all of my nutes, based on a middle-range dose for each (a concentrate that when mixed 20:1 w/water is at target PPM for use), but for the sea-K I mixed a 10% solution, 2-gal worth. Am curious to see if any fermentation or other wackiness happens, as it may take some months to work through this batch and storage is in a warm, indoor location. Water source is civic Tap, 0-10ppm, pH 7, chloramines were treated with ‘trace’ potasium metabisulphate.
hi Gaz. Unfortunately we don’t have Sea-K stock in UK, so it wouldn’t have been possible for you to receive it. Hopefully later in the year we will get that available in UK!
I just started using my 2 part and supplementing with sweet candy on my outdoor in Coco/Peat/Perlite
Low and slow. Thursday will be my 3rd feeding. I am bumping 20% until I have her dialed in tight as f.
I just started the one part today started with 3 g veg feed. With the 2 part I do half strength every other week. Idk what to do with the 1 part. Because it says everyday. I think that’s a but much. But fuck if I know. I’m trying the one part for the first time.
Yeah, I just started real low and feeding every three days. Coco/Peat/Perlite is my lane.
I’m going to dial it in like anything else. Low and Slow.
I weighed each at an even small scoop from the Sweet Candy bag
Mega Crop A. 1.5 grams
Mega Crop B 1.3 grams
Sweet Candy 1.4 grams
2 gallon mix
3/4 scoop Meg A
3/4 scoop Meg B
1/2 scoop Sweet Can
1tsp Microbe
1/2 tsp Kelp
1 tsp Cal Mag
My taps PPM is 47
With these nutes my PPM came out to 171
In 3 days I will bump it another 20%.
Each plant got a gallon
DJ got 1 1/2 gallons
90’s got 1/2 gallon
