Thank you for that

So what does that mean? Everyday watering? is that every time you need to water? With the one part.

That’s what it says on the bag… I was wondering that same thing.

I’m liking the 2 part. I love sweet candy. Plants love that shit. “I put that shit on everything” :fire:

My lazy grammar implied that both Sea-K and Mega Crop products were received on the basis of commonly offered free samples, but only the 3lb MC fert was given under those conditions. Apologies for the confusion, @GreenleafNutrients , @Gaz29 , anyone else.

I love that. Anyhoo… yes, I’ve been using the two-part for about 18 most now and I am pleased with it.

All the obvious stuff is great;

The flexibility of a 5-12-26 NPK when used with a Calcium Nitrate part B (15.5-0-0), is very practical (see Jack’s ‘3-2-1’, which has identical NPK, but MC2pt gets there with different, IMO better, products in the blend).

Just as the simplicity of the one-part original MegaCrop (MC1) has its specific advantages, so too this step-up in complexity offers its own advantages, one being your capability to crop-steer with nutrients, ie bumping phospherous for a couple of fills in/around the flip, etc.

I also enjoy now having the option to add biological elements myself or go without. MC2pt does not include any of the vitamin b complex supplements, kelp, fulvic and other bio supplements that are generally so beneficial and (ridiculously) cost-effective in MC1. However, if utilizing small dia. drippers or pressurized elements, will gum up the works eventually.

To be fair, MC1 flows great, and while I might not use it for high pressure aeroponics, I prolly would use MC1 for just about everything else. Still, because I use SIPs and can be away from the plants for a week at a time, if ‘forced’ to be away I fill the rez with MC2pt and that’s it for the week. It’s a small change, but prevention is very (very) cheap compared to the alternative.

You just start coming up with new, little ways this flexibility can be leveraged, and I for one really appreciate having both MC’s on the shelf.

The 2 part is very, very clean and a wonderful fert. for everything from my veggies outside to DWC inside. I cannot specifically compare to Jack’s, vis-a-vis stability, but in my 27-gal DIY DWC’s and 27-gal SIPs in ProMix, the MC2pt is the most pH stable compared to my experiences with GH flora (lucas), Maxigrow/bloom and DynaGro. I use 0-10ppm, pH 7, BC coast civic tap water.

Even non-users benefit from, and can appreciate, MC2-part’s amino-acid chelation of micronutrients. Not only is it a cool, new technology that works as advertised (no deficiencies), but the otherwise virtually omnipresent synthetic chelates like EDDTA et al have begun to appear further up the food-chain. This is potentially disastrous for human and animal health, and we’ve long understood this kind of environmental persistence as something to be avoided at all costs, which is why we monitor for it. The issue is that politically it is very difficult to further regulate agriculture in the US at this time.

I like it. I just started using it with 47 PPM tap water which is neutral ph 7. Seems to be working great in my Coco/Peat Forest Mix/Perlite. Outdoors. 2 part with some sweet candy for a kicker. PH buffering on its own.

Been out of the loop in the North country with the family. My order came in just before I left, and the kids have been pounding it to the plants, they love it. So glad I made the switch over to Megacrop!!!

@Kgrim did you get the 1 part or the 2 part? I’m really curious to try out my samples.

Thank you @GreenleafNutrients I received my sample and the kelp! Will post pictures when I am home, looking forward to getting those wonderful results others have been experiencing with your products

I bought the 1 part. I got super, rock bottom pricing on AN for a long time, and just sick of feeling like a chemist measuring 6-7 bottles of shit. So far, plants are banging. 1 part, sea kelp, & sweet candy. Mixes well, and have it brain dead simple for the kids to make a batch.
I’m sold, and will probably be using it for a long time.

I am stoked with the 2 part and sweet candy also. Plants are happy as f.

assuming you had an international order, its a requirement to put the contents on the customs form when sending int packages.

Anything wrong with giving this a few pulses in a coffee grinder? there’s some hard lumps that make hard to dose accurately
