Greenleaf Nutrients MEGA CROP Q&A/Support/Pictures/Feedback/Anything thread

My reservoir has that smell too and I don’t use the kelp in it. Im hoping some Southern Ag might help. It was my go to with rdwc

Does adding a surfactant to megacrop before watering make it more or less effective

I am not sure on this, it would depend on your media likely. It couldn’t hurt for sure.

Attempting to grow a giant pumpkin in a buried 60-gallon DWC. Megacrop 2-part. Just switched to “bloom” schedule. Any thoughts on ratios for this application?

Very nice.

you are right on the money with the dosage! That works for tomatoes and cannabis really well, and should be similar to other fruiting and flowering plants such as pumpkin too. Please keep us up to date!

Is there a major difference between bud explosion and sweet candy? Im looking for a pk booster in coco

yes there is a major difference. Sweet Candy has sugars and lots of organics in it, its more geared towards soil/physical media. Bud Explosion is a pure PK booster and does not have any sugars or organics.

With coco being a physical substrate and a type of hydroponic medium, what would you recommend

you could choose either one for coco. If you value biologicals and organics than Sweet Candy.

So you’re saying we don’t get this correct?

We get this?

Even on Amazon, the 25lbs comes up as the 0-27-27 and the 3lbs shows 0-0-16.
I can see how people are confused.
BTW, I love the 1 Part. Didn’t notice much difference adding the BE.
Im in promix so might try the sweet candy.
Speaking of, any codes for Canada?

I might have to try that hanger idea for my 4x4

The sweet candy has worked well for me. I also use big bud liquid every other feeding seemed to add a bit more swell. I ordered sweet candy but got the older bags and it had me thrown for a loop as well. @GreenleafNutrients were good at helping straighten it out for me!

My Sweet Candy is 0-17-28. I use it in my Autopots. I find you need to be careful with dosing as you put around 6 tsp and get to 1.2ec, add one more hoping to get 1.5/6, and BAM! 3.2! Just have to keep an eye on it.

Cool, thanks @420noob and @Frankken_Ford just ordered the sweet candy…
Anyone want a bag of BE… Real cheap :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

would this not speak more about the buffering capacity of your solution/ water vs the product its self?

after thought, whoops ec is not ph and maybe water buffer capacity isnt the proper concept at play

K, stoopid stoner question of the day… But I’m asking anyways.
Sweet candy is used along with MC 1part correct? Not instead of?
And is used in all grow stages, compared to the bud explosion being used in flower only.
Thx

Yes, and I don’t add the sweet candy until I bloom, sometimes a week or after the flip.
Good luck!

What he said is correct. I usually don’t start until 2 wks after flip cause that is when I lower the amount of 1part per gal. Just personal preference there.

Ok, thanks fellas :call_me_hand: their feeding calculates to use through veg as well. I’ll just leave that to the 1 Part. It does an incredibly good job 🤷 how it does I got no clue. But it does.
