A friend here in Missouri order some seeds from Greenpoint seeds. They shipped two packs of seeds from another order with his. When the person did not get their seeds they contacted @Gu and they released my friend name, shipping address, and phone number to the customer.
Your information is not safe with this meathead do not do any transactions with this moron.
The guy released the shipping address, name and phone number of my friend to the customer instead of sending new seeds. This is crossing a line, you do not give out names, phone numbers to strangers.
Looks like a mistake. It reads like the seller said, “I sent you some beans, lets make sure I got the right address, is it XXX Mile High Drive?” Beanless guy, “No, that isn’t my address. Now I will stalk that person until I get my beans!”
Yeah, not a smart thing to do. But the seller isn’t promoting the harassing from what I can tell.
Gu joined Overgrow a few years ago, and it did not go well for him. After his inappropriate behavior in a thread dedicated to Greenpoint Seeds, he was promptly suspended.
Within that GPS thread, you’ll see that there are other stories about Gu & GPS doxing or threatening to dox people who were complaining about their orders.
If you order food at a restaurant and it is sent to the wrong table do you walk over to other table and take your food from the person or should the kitchen cook you what you ordered? The kitchen won’t tell you to grab the food from the other person, the kitchen will make a new dish. Same shit
I was making a very simple comparison as to how a business should operate. If the business gets the order wrong it is up to the business to correct it. Not the clients
Things went to shit after Jeanne left. She handled shit. Anytime we had a problem she would have it fixed the same day. There would have been none of this fuckery.
While it does sound like an honest mistake you don’t hand out addresses like that.
What’s worse is the dude on the other end sounds a bit of a loon contacting your friend for the seeds. Who does that?
