** NEW GROW: Mainline Attempt #2 **
I’m doing another grow using this technique but this time we’re skipping right to the fun part.
We are currently 1-2 weeks away from the flip to flower with the plants being topped and started LST a few weeks back.
I’ve been a bit lazy with the training so it looks a bit messy but it will be cleaned up before flower.
Here is the lineup:
Raptors OG (2)
- Breeder: Future Genetix (their website no longer works, assuming they were shut down for not following legislation)
- Genetics: Miami Heat x Triple OG #6
- Variety: Hybrid
- Gender: Feminized
- Flowering Time: 9weeks
Cotton Candy Rock Candy (2)
- Breeder: Pure Breeding
- Genetics: Durban Poison x New England Rock Candy
- Gender: Feminized
- Variety : Hybrid
- Flowering Time : 9 Weeks
- Terpene Profile : Blueberry, Cream, Cotton Candy, Sugar and Sweet
It’s the same two strains as the last bout but I wanted to use up the rest of the seeds before moving on to something else.
My previous harvest was about 8oz off of 3 plants. This time I’m aiming for 12oz+ off of 4.
The Soil
1part Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss
1part Organic Compost
1part Perlite
0.5part Worm Castings
Amendments
Gaia Green 4-4-4
Gaia Green 2-8-4
Glacial Rock Dust
Kelp Meal
Insect Frass
Oyster Shell Flour
Indonesian Bat Guano
Mycorrhizae
→ When I first started with these nutrients I followed the specs on the packaging which works pretty well but these days I add roughly 1.5x that amount per gallon of soil with the exception of the bat guano and 2-8-4 where I only add 1/2 the recommended amount. I top dress early in flower to give a boost of these nutrients. Generally, I make a tea with the bat shit and water once every couple weeks
After mixing the soil and letting it sit for a month it settled at 6.68pH
I’ll have to upload the pictures tomorrow since my lights shut off for the night.
