Yes ! Iā€™m so stoked,been cleaning every chance I can ! Trying to hack out a spot ! Hehe Iā€™m such a hoarder and a stasher ,haha unfortunately I have been killing beans like crazy (to me every lost seed is way to many) again,I struggle with a smooth germination process ,Iā€™m going throw some in peat pellets and forget about them ,seems like when I try to be so careful,I fuck them right up ! Argghh ! Haha glad you could make it over brother ! Hope you are well @cannabissequoia and enjoying your new digs and climate !
Peace

So I put another round of seeds in peat pellets the other day and not a damn thing shakin yet ,my god I donā€™t know what to do ,Iā€™ve heard of people using straight spring water cause of the natural mineral content,but the stuff I get is treated with ozone, only stuff I can find and comes out alkaline,so Iā€™ve been using apple cider vinegar to lower the ph,I have them set on-top of a couple Solo cups in a pellet tray with drain holes with a heat mat underneath with a thermometer inside and a dome over everything
Kinda getting very frustrated, second attempt and these are beans that I wonā€™t be able to replace,Iā€™m about to loose my shit ! Trying very hard to keep my composure, wtf?
Any help would be great
Peace

Is there any natural water source? :thinking:

Sounds like you need more LITFA than water adjustments. :smirk:

A bit alkaline is OK in my experienceā€¦up to 7.2 without any problems.

One way Iā€™ve babied some seeds is wet paper towel, in a plastic bag, in my pocket or even tucked in my waistband, using body heat to get them going. :blush:

I had a shit run recently but I chalk it up to recycled soil from a bottlehead(knew I was taking chances) & really acidic rainwater. & some damping off. :stuck_out_tongue:

Thereā€™s definitely more seeds laying around with OG members it shouldnā€™t be a problem to get more.

Awesome ! I really appreciate the kind words fam ! And support ! I couldnā€™t wait,I think itā€™s been close to a week now and nothing I pulled the seed outta the peat puck(the irreplaceable ones, Massgas and Guerilla fumes) ,and put them in some warmed up distilled water with two drops of 3% h2o2, Iā€™ve got some that I should be practicing with,and will be going with them next !
Mad Respect !
Peace !

Want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays !
In regards to the seed start attempt none of the new attempts have popped and when I did finally dig into the pellets all were mush ,rotted out,i did have one of the original Massgas start to veg nicely,to the point where I did get a cutting,hope to make some seeds with the black triangle male that also pulled through,with more seeds I can hopefully get some selection ! Peace !

Hope all is well with everyone and you are able to enjoy the holidays ! I want to put some things out there for the new year to come , in regards to the direction that Iā€™m leaning towards,some genetics that Iā€™m looking to acquire and work with , being lock down in seed form ;

  • Chem D ! is at the top of my list ! (Cutting)
  • Triangle Kush (seed)
  • Sour Diesel(cutting)
  • GMO(cutting)
  • Thai , must be super potent and absolutely feel good weed ,Thai stick quality !( Seed form)
  • Mendo Breath (pure ,will work on an IBL)(seed form)
  • Parent stock for a Skunk repro from the ground up ! Again of the highest quality !(seed form)
  • Platinum GSC (cutting)
  • Candyland ( seed)
  • Black Candyland (seed) joti
    Basically parental stock for some breeding projects that donā€™t stop floating around in my head ,until I can see them through, absolutely obsess about this stuff ! This is only a start ,more to come, Peace

@Ftlob
look into lucky dog seed co., run by skunk_va, one of the original chemdog guys. i know speakeasy seed bank has a couple of his strains in stock with some dropping soon i thinkā€¦ some sold out though.

Awesome ! I was just looking at some of his gear today actually ! Appreciate the heads up on a good bank to !
Iā€™m really going to search out a Chem D cutting tho,as well as the GMO and SD they have to be from the original cut , and that wonā€™t be until spring or early summer, when I know the weather is right for shipping and a little warmer in my basement,I just canā€™t keep the temperature up , hoping to take the Dank Sinatraā€™s to f4 by then ( La Affie x 88ghash) to use to make some regular seeds, although I am running a male Black Triangle right now and will see if I canā€™t hit a few things to get an idea of how he breeds
Realistically I shouldnā€™t have to purchase any new stock but their is so many veriaties out there that I would love to get , and from Skunk VA, and JJ NYC , Bob Hemphill ( uses but doesnā€™t want to work a pure Chem line) all extremely reputable,with killer direction and integrity
Mad Respect brother ! Peace

@Ftlob
what do you think of those dank sinatra? i have an old pack of them sitting around. i also used a black triangle female in my ā€œblack snowā€ strain, crossed to a solo stash from bodhi.

I really love those Dank Sinatraā€™s,I found them to absolutely solid and resilient AF ! Personally Iā€™d recommend holding on to them or an absolute open pollenation right from the start , and line work to keep pure, as they can be used to out cross anytime after that, everything Iā€™ve crossed them to became sturdy and amazing,I had a couple females that I couldnā€™t get close to finishing until I hit them with DS pollen,and now they arenā€™t finicky at all ! Such a treat to work with ! And am very grateful for the opportunity to have some fun and experience ! Iā€™ve given tons out , and everyone that has run them as an f3 or outcross has really made a point to express their gratitude and appreciation ! I just hope I donā€™t fuck it up in my selections , taking to f4 ! Haha
Hope to make enough for Mr Sebring this summer , for his adventures ! He gives out free seeds to those interested or in need !
Iā€™d love to hear what you think of yours when you get through them ! Please let me know
Iā€™m guessing that Bodhi used the old original LA Affie (as opposed to the weaker new selection that others use) sheā€™s something special,well to me at least ,hehe peace

And that cross sounds amazing,how did they turn out ? Feel free to post pics here,of anything of interest ! Peace

@Ftlob
i just started a thread on the black snow, a bunch of people are pooling together to grow them. in addition to that iā€™m going to pass out seeds in 2-3 weeks for people who want to grow them along with everyone else in that thread. if you have time/space youā€™re welcome to join in. looks like it should get going in february/march.

Iā€™ll definitely run them as soon as I get them brother! Peace

Good day ,I am wondering if anyone has put a male into flower at three weeks after the female (s)
I originally thru a male in with the females and thought it was to early,so I pulled and tossed him in the trash(worm bin),for some reason I thought three weeks would be better,and at week three I put another one in , in retrospect I should have put him in on the one week mark,now Iā€™m thinking Iā€™ll be lucky if any seeds have time to ripen, the only saving grace may be that they are all 10 weekers (minimum,a couple possibly a bit longer)and find myself hoping that they can keep on trucking until they (seeds) actually ripen ,any feedback or thoughts would be great and appreciated, thank you
Cheers
