I find seeds take roughly six weeks to mature. There should be plenty of time on a 10 week strain if pollinated at 3 weeks.

Thank you brother,I actually put the male in at three weeks and is only now showing pollen sacks ,that haven’t opened yet ,just over week 4 , about 30 days for the females now and a week and two days for the male ,
I’m guessing that maybe week five the females will receive pollen !

I guess my question is,will a ten week strain , continue on for another week to ripen the seeds or just die off (at week ten ) before the are totally ripe ?

The plant will, generally, stay alive to ripen seeds. It’s what the plant wants to do: reproduce.

Beautiful ! I really hoping ! Cause it’s a Black Triangle male ! And I have a Sunshine Daydream,Ice Cream Cake, for the females ! Am Super stoked ! I could have pulled him out ,but I would much prefer beans to run later ! And a bunch of resin to get me through !
Do you find a drop in quality in the resin on seeded bud ? Would love to hear your thoughts on that,I’m sure there must be a ton of discussion on that subject

In my experience, yes a slight decrease in secondary metabolites (terpenes and THC) in seeded bud compared to sinsemilla. The plant is spending that energy to make seeds.

In the past I’ve had a “friend” complain that the bud had a few seeds in it and that it didn’t get them stoned. Told them to bring the bud back and I’d “refund”. The bud never came back

Now that I think about it,I remember years ago probably 1999 ,I picked up a qp and found seeds in it ,it was still by far better than most weed available at that time,they were fully mature,and ended up being breaky for probably a mouse,damn I wish I could have grown them out to maturity,haha hard lessons learned,haha peace,and appreciate the help
Oh and if anyone is wondering it was an outdoor sativa leaner ! Super happy weed,and very potent,sure wish I knew what it was

I’m very happy,been catching up on preservation runs ! Gotta lock those genetics down ,so I’ll shoot for fall for the first of many med runs !

So I’ve got some beans finishing up , Massgas (Chem 91 x Triangle Kush)g&m seeds x two different phenos, Southern Charms (Irene Kush x Triangle Kush) x1 pheno, Sunshine Daydream (super sexy pheno) and Ice Cream Cake x1 all hit with Guerilla fume pollen! On week five since I pulled the male out of the room , so should be pretty close , possibly one more week,I’ll let them ride
And the next phase is to grow the first set of seeds here from the Black Triangle male , compliments of Sebring seeds ! So grateful
I’ll get some pics once they get their stuff together ! So very grateful ! Love and Respect !

So grateful that I can finally finish her with a decent light ! This is the third time ,and still loaded with seeds ,the male (3 males of the same line) I used this time was a Grape Galette
I’ll post some info as soon as I can dig it up
