Growing Trees with Meesh 2021

I fight the pillars every season I use Diatomaceous Earth also a lot of it . Real heavy around the edge of the bags sometimes I mix with water and spray . I also use Dr Zymes this has worked great for me kills aphids also .

Meesh are you using mosquito netting ? Every time the wind blows the little bastards ride a web and drop out of the million oak trees around here . I check my plants a couple of times a day the green ones are hardest to spot .

We are going to use Agricultural Insect Barrier this year. Enclosing the whole cannabis patch. Screw those moths!

I got those little green webbed suckers back when I had my Macadamia Nut tree. I think they are called canker worms. They would fall on your head even. Bah! Now it’s mostly pillars from those brown gypsy moths that lay eggs on the leaves.

I love having first world problems but I’ve never had the problem of oversize cannabis, 9 foot instead of the more practical 6 foot would really be a bummer

Good to see everything is rolling along nicely @Meesh

Haha! Well the ag net cuts the sunlight 2% so who knows what effect that will have. Almost all need to be sexed this year too, so it’s a bit less time vegging in the ground. May beat my first world problems back! Last year it was that 9 foot cheezus christ and the year before the 10 foot strawberry diesels that split in half and went through bud held together with vice grips remember? At least the trellises are awesome and the plants didn’t run my life in bud last year. lol. but new year and I’m sure new first world problems will pop up.

Good to see you buddy! Wouldn’t be the same without you!

Even looking at the babies, I can already tell that the SSDD, Iced Cubes and Panama want to be huge! I think I’m gonna have a lot in store for me this Summer

Top shelf seeds on strainly had santa cruz bd clones. Looked very “sativa” and smells peppery/hazey/licorice imo. Just in case you didn’t know

So you know it’s Orange Goji you’re transplanting when these tiny little suckers reek up the whole front of your backyard! How could I have possibly forgotten how much these plants smell even in veg? How soon we forget. lol

Wish we had smellavision… seriously it’s mind blowing

Cross legged in the grass transplanting and the view is cool right here. Like little cannabis umbrellas

Transplants complete on 2nd batch of seedlings. 1st batch almost ready for another one into the 2 gallon pots. I need to check the date on first transplants as they only need 3 weeks where they are now. All plants got more kelp and weekly innoculation of mammoth P. This is why I log every tiny thing in here. The apnea killed my memory.

Checked back. It’s only been 10 days since the first batch were transplanted. They sure do love getting out of the seed starter and into the real soil. They have grown like crazy in 10 days. Kelp really makes them recover quickly. They didn’t skip a beat. Nutes in the soil will be fine for another 10 days at least without supplemental nutrition. If they don’t get root bound before then as I don’t move them up in size much on the first transplant. They should have one nice root ball before the next much larger transplant. I am a weird believer that 3 transplants in veg is max they should go. So the ground will be their 3rd and permanent eventual transplant at solstice.

I do remember the Strawberry Diesel, I’ve been itching to get some in the ground, this next season will be the first time I can grow some (hopefully) trees and not stress too much about them being seen.

Edit: changed strain name.

After 3 transplants the pots are too heavy anyway!

I’ll start uppotting the first batch of plants probably on Mon or Tues. 16 days in these pots now. They’ll be ready for the 2 gallon pots until they show me their naughty bits me thinks. They’re starting to grow much faster, plus I’m making them search for water quite a bit, hoping for some juicy root balls.

 Did you perhaps grow any CBD stuff last year?

I’ll be down there right before liftoff  ('member? :telephone_receiver: )
and am hoping so.

Sadly my 2020 is about gone :worried: & am almost planning a trip to the weed store.

No CBD, but I may have some vacuum sealed from the year before, but not certain. You can travel with I think an ounce which I can surely give you of something.
