So friends, is 14 hours of lights on good to germ my flowers in the new seed starter?

Why 14? Natural? I’d want at least 16 but frankly if they are in soil only temp matters till they get above ground.

When germinating seeds most recommend 20/4 for a light schedule from what I have seen…I usually use 18/6 though.

Hey Meesh! Did you ever get your zinc or aluminum or whatever it was figured out on your soil test? Haven’t been able to keep up much lately, but I remember you having really high numbers on one metal.

Not yet, it’s zinc. Supposedly the microbes in the transplant formula they have is supposed to break it down. It didn’t seem to affect my grow though. I’m gonna add a bunch more this year. Like everything with soil, it takes time. Still no idea why it’s so high though.

He does seem to be adding a lot of sulphated ingredients and apparently did not test for it…otoh think most are water soluble and unlikely to move the pH much at those rates?

The boron and sulphur test is every other year. However, my ph is only at 6.6 still in good range. Ill ask the dude whats up when I call later. I need to find out what the Perk Up drench is too

Can’t wait to see ur grow this yr it’s always awesome, really enjoy ur threads. I’ve been so busy I haven’t really been posting much have 5 blue dreams going atm in the closet haven’t done any journaling lately tho figure I’ll start fresh next run, also can’t wait to see ur regular garden this yr still have to check w my landlord n see if I can put some containers in the backyard, it’s a shared area he lives above us and his family is below us they keep to themselves as do we. Not sure if I’ll have as much time for the gardening this yr we will see wat he says n then I’ll decide wat I wanna grow

I norm keep seeds esp for outdoor grows 15 on , off 8 and have had great success , to much light for to long and the cut back to natural day light hours can confuse some strains.
@Meesh hows things going if I want to get a blue dream to you when do you normaly put them outside ?

I’m only starting my flower seeds inside for now, cuz I don’t really know what I’m doing yet. lol I’ll germ the cannabis outside. I think best for clones in SoCal for outdoor planting is June, if I’m not mistaken
