Congrats you new old timer! Flowers look awesome as usual. I’m gonna start a thread again even though I’m camera challenged these days. Just to dump pics of stuff. I really love this place and need to share all of the cool stuff.

Talking about plants exploding after a good prune, it’s true. Even though the plants here get pummeled by hail after they recover they are so much stronger looking. I’ll put pics up of my volunteers this year. At first they looked like the Australian Bastard Cannabis, haa. Now they look as good as if I had planted and babied them. I don’t feed or water them to show how they perform on their own. Maybe I’ll get the thread up tonight. Peace

Oh yeah, that PWC, I wanna see!! From what I’ve seen of other outdoor grows of her, yours should be huge. Plus the buds she grows are fat. And, it sounds like a great flavor. Grow it big!

Getting ready to road trip it out to Palm Springs. It’s 76 here and 110 degrees in the desert. WTF were we thinking? Thank dog for the spa and lots of water to hang out in!

Panama Garlic Haze got a major pruning and more supercropping. She has grown a foot since my last post. Hitting layer 2 of the trellis now along with Sunshine Daydream and Port wine cheese.

Before I pruned the Garlic

After… they look so naked. lol. Good air flow and reducing any larf that would come from lower branches and bud sites

Forgive the drooping branches. More supercropping. They’ll be back to normal tmw

I love your plant city!! It’ s a serious comfort to go inside a place where the plants tell you, “we’re fine here!” Congrats!!!

So, this is my first update since before my mini vacation. Where do I start? First, we had a fantastic trip! It was 122 degrees at 4pm when we arrived in the desert at our hotel. Holy shit, it was hot. Dropped to about 105 the next day. Mostly, hung out in the mineral pools, drove out to check out Palm Springs. Neither one of us had been there in ages. Walked around on the main strip, window shopping and lunching, took some cool pics etc… The last day we checked out of our hotel and drove towards home about 90 miles to Glen Ivy Spa. Sort of the mecca of all spas, where it topped out in the late afternoon at about 90 degrees. Really nice there. We literally had the royal treatment, More hot springs, mud wraps, exfoliation treatments, moisturizing treatments and massages. Not to mention the special saline pools for muscle aches, hot and cold dipping pools etc etc… Relaxing and indulgent to the max. My man had never had a massage or even been to a spa before we started dating and he absolutely loves it as much as I do. Doesn’t surprise me a bit, he’s a Libra and loves being pampered and indulgences, not to mention all of the women in bikinis running around. What’s not to love? We didn’t want to come home. For some reason, everytime we travel we bond like superglue and can’t stand to be apart for awhile when we get home. You really know that you’ve found your life partner when you can travel together (especially on road trips) and don’t want to kill each other.

First thing I did, after loving on my dog of course, when I got home was check on the plants. I remember saying Holy Shit! They were 6 inches taller. Very noticeable. They are def starting to stretch. Came back to the 3rd Orange Goji showing pistils and the remaining 2 garlics, 1 iced cube and PWC all showing balls. All in all I ended up with 4 extra females in the end. 3 of which, my friend picked up yesterday and I have 1 stray Orange Goji remaining. Waiting to see if another friend wants her. If not I will probably stick her in a 20 gallon pot and grow her out as I can’t bear to throw her away, but all 9 of my ground spots are now filled.

So aside from planting the last 2 in the ground, the 4 hours in the garden this morning were spent pruning, supercropping and watering all the cannabis. Since I got all up in the Azad Kashmir to prune her, I got a really good look at her. Looks like I must have FIM’d her when I topped all of the plants and 2 of her branches got topped when I pulled off the caterpillar damage, turning her into a cannabis bush instead of a tree. lol She is wide and short. Its gonna be interesting in the end.

I can’t tell you how happy I am to have them all in the ground, the males removed and only one female container plant to tend to now. It’s time to start sprouting some popcorn for some sprout tea. Learned this particular “Transition Tea” as I call it from @Sunvalley. It gives them a lot of juju for flowering. I’ll get those started sprouting in the next day or so.

Just for reference…

Today marks Day 3 of the 25 pushups a day in July challenge for Cancer awareness. I have done all of mine! Woot! I actually started 13 days ago because I was curious if I could do it. All my push-ups for July though are in honor of my neighbor Rosie who lost her battle to lung and brain cancer on May 31st. I have to say that every time I pull them off without a break, I feel like a total badass! lol They don’t exactly seem easier, but I seem to get through them a lot faster and I can already feel them strengthening my entire core. I forgot that there were actually muscles in my chest. Still cant believe that I can actually pull them off. All regular too, not modified. :metal:

I remembered this morning but I’ve only made it to 13 and will be lucky if I can get 20. It just hurts my wrists too much.

I may end up doing situps in lieu.

Totally understand. The man has wrist problems and most of the time he has these hand bars he uses to do them. Way to go on trying! Stoked on the situps! You could always hold a plank for 25 seconds too. May be easier on the wrists as well.

I’ve always had baby giraffe wrists, too!  There’s no shame in inclined push-ups. A couch, or a set of stairs, or a countertop, as long as it’s something sturdy.

The right height will shift just enough weight towards your legs to get rid of the pain. Because working out should never hurt. The pain is your body telling you that you’re gonna cause lasting damage.

There is already lasting damage from work, maybe an 85 degree incline would suffice!
