Growing Trees with Meesh 2021

Crazy right? I just checked back. She is day 30 of flower. Looks like she’ll be ready to harvest right when I get back from Turk and Caicos. Early September!

I would totally build it now! Scrambling around at the last minute for plants sucks! Been there done that!

Sounds amazing!

Mine seems to smell like strawberry candy at the moment. It does look like it will be a cake walk to trim.

Actually, I am a lady grower, but def stick around in the shade. I’ll bring you fancy espresso drinks from my Nespresso machine. lol

Ohh how nice is this part of the season.

Can you remind us of the trellis heights Meeshka

Mea culpa, please forgive my assumption. I do enjoy good coffee!

Trellis heights are approx 2 1/2, 4 and 5 feet. Although with the monster plants, I’m wishing the 3rd layer was taller. We just Jimmy rigged more support for the garlic and the SSDD will probably need something too.

I wanted to just throw a net over it, but Dad doesn’t want to fight with it come harvest time. lol

Me too! I’ve been obsessed with mine for months now. Threw out my regular coffee maker after my first cup.

and I went the other way. I buy whole bean and grind it the night before usually. But coffee is about the only other vice I have left :exploding_head:

HEY! Watch the language! lol Coffee is not a ‘vice’… it’s a requirement to live!  :sunglasses: :+1:
I like my grinders also lol I have one that grinds really fine by hand, and the other is for when I’m lazy (electric)

I’m all about good coffee! I’m waiting for Kona vertuo pods!!! They just have to get with it. I was all about grinding my own beans etc… before the Nespresso came into my life. I would have never bought a keurig even though the pods are easier to find and more plentiful. Once I found out Nespresso sent you bags for the recycling and free shipping to send the pods back, I was completely sold. Plus, that foam is EVERYTHING!!! Keurig will just produce too much waste and none of that foamy goodness. lol For those of you who haven’t researched a Nespresso, it reads the computer codes on each individual pod to brew it specific to the type of coffee and pod you put in. Starbucks makes vertuo pods now. I love the Verona lighter roast. That’s my go to when its not the specific Nespresso brand pods.

@Nagel420 I love me a good espresso martini, but with a splash of cream. Yum! I’ll be drinking those in the sun in Turks and Caicos very soon! :cocktail: :sunglasses:

I made a video on my real camera today. I’m hoping I can figure out how to upload it.

Alright folks! My first time making a video with my camera. A little blurry, also a lot of glare. Bare with me! This will give you a better idea than pics.

Ok, that was spectacular. Thanks for taking us on the tour. Hearing you describe stuff and walk along like that made me feel like I was there getting the tour. I could almost smell them. Great job.

@DougDawson Dude! Do I sound Cali? Female Spiccoli?

I’ll get the zoom and time of the day right next time. I’m not used to my camera yet. Also, I was high AF and rambling, but that’s nothing new.

That’s the best part, you being you. I wouldn’t say female Spiccoli but can hear the Cali 48

Great video tour of the garden! It really does add a lot more depth than the photos to see you walk through like that. Thank you for sharing

Thank you for the tour! Lovely garden!!

You should call it Super Marioland… That PVC work is impressive! I think if any of my neighbors popped that up in their yard, my interest here would definitely be piqued!

And the plants… So BIG… After not growin for 10 years, then my first run is short autos, ya kinda forget just how truly massive these ladies can get (even my outside ones are not that big, I mean, they are taller than me, but nowhere near as bushy as yours).

Well done, well done indeed!

I’d take the tour! I can just imagine how incredible it smells now, and even more so in the coming weeks!

Too bad I’m on the other side of the country with no vacations in sight :frowning:
