Hamme Hydro's OG Phototopic

Two cuts have been added to the seedling party, namely Amnesia Haze and Uruzgan. They are the two best of the last of the Mohicans that i have left after losing most of my entire batch to pyrethrum. Chosen to supply me with fresh cuts to preserve the genetics, so fingers crossed!

Some of the growers in here have already grown and/or smoked the legendary Amnesia Haze and have grown fond of her. She has been passed on since 1997 rumor has. The other cut is as mentioned Uruzgan.

May i say that i personally jacked the Uruzgan from the evil Taliban in Afghanistan but did not yet get the change to grow nor smoke her myself without being stoned to death?

Ebb and flow rockwool or mapito is the best thing

Thanks!

The blocks even have a slight advantage i think because contrary to particles of rock wool they do not collapse. And setting them up is a joy!

I never worked with big blocks
diy mapito is also much better than rfx
The rfx stays soggy and collapse the diy with a lot of pu balls stays very airy and you will have alot of hair roots
In the rfx you will have thick roots
And im reusing my mapito now almost 4 years non stop

The thing with the blocks is that you can only use them once or twice before they break down and they are a little too expensive to buy new every time. But after they broke down you can use 'm as d.i.y. mapito. Eventually the biggest downside of the blocks are those two. Otherwise i would only grow on the blocks.

Now that i am back to growing on rock-wool all the problems i had earlier with clay pebbles are over. Can’t say for sure that it is all because of the rock-wool but frankly, i don’t really care.

Hamme im doing some testing" how to beat the hplvd"
I try to save my grow system that i developed in the last years this is after i had full blown hplvd in december, and lost all my elite motherplants.
We can not cure hplvd so to save my grow style i came up with
" how to out run hplvd"
all these plants are infected with this viroid ( i planted them in between the hplvd plants and im using recirculating ebb and and flow, but only 2 plants stunted and 3 had hplvd hairy small buds on the lowest part of the plants, but the head bud is “normal”

Good morning.

All the problems i’ve had with clay pebbles are gone!

I’ve lowered the light some more and still keep it dimmed to 200 watts to save out on the electricity bill.

Twenty Super Orange Glue cuts have come to join another grow party. Most cuts are bad so i hope i can get all of them to catch on. Fingers crossed!

The medium is rock wool slabs, because they are cheaper then big blocks but need more preparation. Holes need to be drilled, the bottom cut open for the water to enter when flooding and draining. Kind of a hassle when you’re used to growing on big blocks. But big blocks are way too expensive nowadays.

Note that there is no table. I use the same pump to pump the water in and later out.

Some cuts have obviously already caught on. An indication the system functions accordingly.

No worries, i killed the wasp. Or is that bad luck?
