Yes most if it came from the lower parts but what puzzels me is that it showed on certain higher parts of the plant too. Even some that put on weight had it. And all those buds just fell apart when trying to trim them. It seemed like a disease. But the higher parts too can be blocked by other buds. It’s hard to tell in the Gorilla Shorty.

I’ll see if i can find the branch that had it from bottom to top and take a picture.

Hard to tell could be the way the buds grow I’ve grew plants where the buds looked similar to that and no seeds .

Good to hear that! I have never seen this before! It looks pollinated to me, but i have no experience with that. These are clones! Help is greatly appreciated!
Snip a small bud and check it out if it’s seeded you’ll see tiny white seeds throughout it .

Haven’t seen any white seeds and i’ve searched for them. Can the seeds be green?
They could have a green skin that will come off revealing the seed but by then the seeds would be brown or black

I agree foxtailing looks very similar to that bud. Quite possible that’s what you’re seeing.

Foxtailing on that last picture? It looks more like premature seed to me. 
Seen nothing like that, so they are probably not pollinated. Which of course with cuts normally should not happen.
I would like to think it is, but i had some other plants foxtail that looked different. Furthermore the whole bud seems impossible to smoke because of this strange phenomenon.
In my whole career as a grower i’ve never seen anything like it. Here’s another picture, perhaps this shows it clearer.

Foxtailing looks different indeed. Aren’t that nanners half way the branch?
I’ve seen swollen single calyx is look like that but not in the middle of a bud

It really has me puzzled. What could have caused it, too much watering? Can i still use the genetics? A lot of big buds went straight in the trash today.
My coco coir grow is in the first week of 12/12. Had to refill the tank today for the first time.
Ec 1.5 (+ Magnesium) and pH 5.8. Almost didn’t have to add pH minus because of the sourness of the Ferro nutriment. The pH was 6.0 without so can growing get any easier?
The light is now as close to the canopy as possible and burns at 250 watts.
