Harvested 2 JOTI Plants & Got ALMOST 10 Grams...Is That Good?

lol…so I think @anon16977489 has kindly and generously offered you cuts of his Cookieland - the strain that you said you’d love to be a tester for (but missed out on by a few months).

Yeah it’s cookieland. I appear to have one gsc extreme leaning pheno and one black candyland leaning pheno. Have a good feeling about these and I’m sure the bx will be even better.

Haven’t flowered them out yet but I’ll be topping them soon so if you want this strain I can pass on cuts to you. Feel free to dm me.

What’s up cookieland peeps!! Just wanted to drop a couple pics of the upper buds. We are in wk7 and have started to really put on some size. The super crazy 118 heat kinda slowed em down but I’ll give them as long as they need.

Front row #2 #3 from left.

Lookin’ good, @Shaggy450r! From that pic, she definitely takes after her father. Does she have a sweet aroma?

I was thinking the same thing.

It’s a sweeter smell. Can’t put my nose on it. I’ll have my wife do a smell test

Her daddy definitely has the sweet aroma. It’s not hard to figure out how Seed Junky Genetics came up with the Candyland name. It’s sweet smelling, but not attributable to a specific flavor (at least, not to my nose).

Exactly, I sat out there for a couple minutes trying to figure it out. But most definitely a sweet aroma.

Ok I moved this guy slightly and saw a little dust drop. Got it set up now to hopefully have pollen drop down into the trim bin. Got the bin as a gift and have never used it. I think it will work for this. You cant tell in this pic but the leaves are turning dark purple.

Man, @Floyd, that’s an impressive male cola. I’m glad you’re finally seeing pollen, but still shocked that it’s not super productive. Oh well, it only takes a little!

Thanks for the update!

I’m also shocked you’re not swimming in pollen. I have only flowered a couple males though so what do I know. Maybe some take longer than others.

That’s great news, @Chronickyle. It’s gonna’ be fun to watch how big she gets outside! I hope you’ll share her progress as she explodes in size.

Question @Purple-N-Hairy

HOW do you harvest your pollen? Did you go over that somewhere in the 500 posts?

Do you just find a large flat something and kinda shake em and scrape it into a pile or am I picturing something that’d be considered barbaric?

Too new to breeding to know anything but chucking pollen at females but I really want to learn
