That’s interesting, thank you for sharing. One comment is that’s not hash, that’s isolate. Im sure it’s a similar process to how they make the CBD isolate I buy. Hash is the isolation of intact trichome heads. Oil is the extraction of the contents of the trichome heads, usually with a solvent that is later evaporated.

That is true, it would be an isolate, still an extract. Considered in chemistry an acid base extraction because of utilizing the carboxylic acid group of the THCA. I think the CBD is isolated from female buds in hemp fields and extracted with solvent. There is no chemical group to manipulate like the carboxylic acid group of THCA because CBD is a diol (two hydroxy groups).
