Hey bud how the new job treating you?

It’s been really good so far! Still figuring out what goes where when, but I like everybody, and I’m feeling confident.

Have you considered doing like a “half and half” watering thing? Like half the water you intend to use, wait thirty minutes or so and then water with the remaining? It seems to work better than just dumping everything in the pots all at once.

I was thinking maybe drilling a few eighth inch holes in the bottom of the fabric is a good idea…
Watering twice is great if you are able.

Yep.

Now that most are in their final pots, it shouldn’t be a much of an issue because they’ll have root systems well outside the bag. I just won’t be using the ac infinity 1/2 gallons anymore.
The 3 inch offbrand starters are excellent though

Another note for future reference:
With the exception of the Oaxacan (remember, they do whatever the fuck they want, and yeah @Pigeonman you can drop that gif if you want), all plants have been LST’d to create an 18" tall canopy on day 1 of flowering.
If they stretch 2.5 times, they’ll be 10" from the light at its current setting. I have another 6 inches of headspace available as needed.
The Oaxacan are going to require creative gardening, so I’ve procured some of my old bonsai wire (anodized aluminum in various gauges) in an attempt to “direct” their growth.
The other plant(s) of some concern are the Vietnam Bomb. 3 ended up female, and though there’s little info about these, what I did find was repeated statements that she gets big!
Current count-
Vietnam Bomb 3, but I very much think one is male ( @Dirt_Wizard )
Silver Haze x Sowah 3, I currently believe all 3 are female, 2 have fully declared
( @SkunkHunt101 )
Oaxaca 4; as I’ve said, I think Big Poppa is a male; the others are anybody’s fucking guess. :bear::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::sweat_smile:
Blue Dream x Azure Haze 4, three are declared and I’m 85% sure the 4th is male. 3 are under the HLG 300 BSpec in the 2x4, putting on some size, before rejoining their sisters in the big show.
(@boatbum325 )

If I’m calling this right, that’s 12 plants in the flower tent, until the Oaxaca declare. If my ratios continue the way they have been, I may end up with 3 females of each strain for this tent’s inaugural run.

It’s gonna get wild folks, stay tuned.

Okay, because I have extra cash this month I did a thing I’ve been wanting to do for many months:
I bought @MAHAKALA gear!
Incense Sticks is Bandaid Haze #7 x Vietnam Black, and Acid Beauty is Tom Hill Haze x Vietnam Black. Gonna melt some faces in 2024!
For the uninitiated, Maha develops mind- bending haze strains for hardcore sativa lovers, and has an immaculate ethos around the power of us as individual cultivators to create truly magical medicine.
I’ve loved his online persona since I read his first post, and I am humbled and honored to secure some of his work.

Here’s @TopicalWave quoting Maha in the post that started this herbal romance.

I bookmarked it 18 months ago

@Greasy almost exactly 48 hours after getting buried…7 Sun Ra are pushing toward the light!

Only six are truly visible, but the seventh is almost up, because the dirt is lifting up in the center of the bag.
Off to a great start!
Seed starting soil is blend of coir based seed starting soil, and BAS Light Recipe. Added Great White rhizo/bacterial inoculate powder to the sowing holes.

Have you been “silent” (the word you’re looking for is actually “silenced,” but I understand that English is not your first language)? Are you no longer allowed to post on that thread? I quit following that one a couple months back, just because the bickering got to be too much, wasn’t interested anymore.

But yeah, were you banned from that thread or something?

I can’t speak to moderation of other threads, but I will say that you are welcome in this one.
There’s some Oaxaca here right now, and all the others have “haze” in their names, but they’re not the kind of Haze you grow
I appreciate you stopping in, and I will say again that I am wildly excited to grow your work next year, and a big thank you to @TopicalWave for introducing me to you.

First JADAM feed today @BeagleZ
1 oz./gal, half cannabis JLF, half arugula JLF; that should provide a nice push of cal/mag from the greens, and a variety of things from the canna, but primarily N to get them through the stretch.
I’ll feed the same next week, and then begin incorporating my food scrap JLF during week 4 of flower.
Not to worry @Upstate the Oaxacan got plain water. :bear::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Nice dude!

I just started a new bucket of canna with a bunch of the trim from the Copa run, bunch of trichomes in this batch so I will now have flower and a veg CannaJLF.

Sending the good vibes brother! Super stoked to watch the Oaxacan!

@BeagleZ @ReikoX
As I start my feeding schedule, I’m curious about yours’.
B, I think you do a maintenance solution of KNF inputs with every watering, is that correct? If so, how frequently is that (since I know it takes longer for your need to dry out.
I don’t know you’re regimen Reiko.
My plants get watered every other day, so I’m trying to determine feeding frequency. I’ll be using JADAM liquid fertilizer and JMS almost exclusively, in 5 gallon living soil pots

Hmm, well I use a soil test and front load my amendments to get me to my target values. My beds are irrigated with blumats and plain RO water. Once every 7-10 days I feed them a small amount (about 2% of the soil volume) according to the Build-a-Soil schedule. I skip the craft blend and EWC applications because of the front loading of nutrients.
