Yes, friend it is true…like alot of the cuts and seeds from coveted strains out there all we really have is the word of the vendor, pics on the internet, and descriptions… There are always those evil doers whose selfishness, hypocracy and greed will come forward…
IME selling bad products is bad business and I would not think for folks running a site that selling bad genetics would be profitable for very long. It is one of those truth will out kind of thing.
The Obsoul33t Alien Tech cut is still around he is still making seeds with it so from my view it is not unreasonable to think it is in circulation.

Yes true he is still using it to make crosses but him and alien never realeased pure alien tech ( don’t think it’s possible since I “believe” they only had one male or one female [maybe s1’s]they can’t get f2’s beans is what I mean). Yeah Canadian seed banks are notorious for getting in on the us seed game hype just like the Dutch. I usually stray away from both those areas when buying seeds. I remember another guy who had these and he said he got them from a Canadian seed bank as well. Wonder if it was the same place as where you got yours.
Obsolete only had a prize male alien tech. When franchise shut down he sold off his male but now under obsolete genetics group he has crosses with some of the original crosses but not actually any alien tech crosses. Who knows who it was sold to but it sure would be nice to know

That is a Good point @Kushking902… Obsoul33t found the Alien tech cut and gave it to Alien and Cali Connection and who knows whom else… so even if Alien did not give out the Alien Tech cut …Obsoul33t did give out the Alien Tech Cut… trying to track chain of custody 20 + years later can be a little tough for sure…
