70lb pit whoās a daddyās boy. Yeah he is a handful and keeps me in shape walking two times a day and very mild easy going fella. He has his share of toys but he goes through them, the unicorn he didnāt completely destroy for some reason maybe for the pic

I wish you did, though. I think you were the first person I saw using those Octopots, learned some interesting things from your old thread (not that Iām gonna switch to Octopots or anything haha). Was that here or the other site? I canāt remember.
Yeah, I just kinda feelā¦ I dunno, obligated or something to grow any of the free seeds Iāve gotten here. I mean, itās one thing with the seeds Iāve bought (which is 99.9% of my fridge). If I wanna put those in my oatmeal and eat them, I can do that. I paid for those. I can do whatever the fuck I wanna do with those.
But with the stuff that was made by people who are just doing it and not making any moneyā¦ I dunno. I feel guilty not growing them. They put in the work, they did something that Iām certainly not willing to do (Iām scared of pollen haha), it seems only right to grow that shit out. For them, ya know?
Yeahhhh, I probably shouldnāt have done the ātwo (or in some cases three) packsā thing every time I bought seeds. It seemed like a good idea at the time and honestly, there are a few things that Iām reeeallllyyyy glad I have a lot of seeds of (Mexican Melon, Bandaid Haze etc). But in generalā¦ Bad idea haha.
That was the problem. And it still is the problem. I mean, seriously, when the fuck did these seeds become a commodity? It was like, I could see a seed release and be like,āOh, that sounds promising, but Iāll just wait for the grow reports, see how it turns out for people and then maybe buy a pack next yearā¦ā Now itās like,āGet them right-the-fuck-NOW or youāre never gonna see them again!!!ā haha.
Is it because more states are legalizing and people are just going nuts?
Right. And I donāt have 76 years, pretty sure you donāt, either haha. I mean, you knowā¦ Hopefully! Hahaā¦

You were smart to do it that way given the strain, would have been a rush and youād have been overloaded.
For people like me that have very little money to put on seeds (more so with nowadays 10+ā¬/seed minimal price) , itās really a blessing. Now I have many lines Iāve been interested in since a while that I wouldnāt have been able to get a hand on otherwise. But I only get the ones I know Iām interested enough they will be grown at some point, Iām not jumping on everything, for the reason you named, people put work and heart into them. Thatās also why I donāt stock some just for the purpose of trading.
I also like to think places like here put a bit of pressure on breeders to do their work, but it might be more of a dream than anything else probably 
The problem being that to be fair, Iāll have to give back to the community at some point

Iām pretty sure more then 2% will get grown out just because of the legendary status the cultivar got.
I really like the idea that you selected them towards the G13. I think it was a wise choice!

I had 10 packs in the freezer of Haze manās repro, that the popo took when they raided me 
. My plan was to do the largest pheno hunt in my life on those seeds, fate had other plans. They will end up in my grow one way or another, so there is nothing to sob about .
My 5 original packs of Blue Moonshine, that I had is another story. I beat myself up that I didnāt store them at my safe location and not in one of the grow housesā¦ I was only able to look through one pack and there was some funk mutants in there 
.
So take care and look after the seeds you got, funky. No matter the size of your collection. You never know what happen in the future and if you ever see something you fancy that Iāve produced. Take your French ass into my DMs and stick it straight to me

I donāt think he used it tbh. His ātechā was to cross the most extreme and polar expressions to each other. What it does is that it really really inbreeds selected parts of the genome and when you then start to cross the same expression to itself, it goes bananas, especially if you start to inbreed that aswell. So as I understand it, Blue Moonshine is the most indica expression of Blueberry inbred. Thus having two different rounds of homozygous breeding in different parts of the genome. Definitely not the way of doing it .
Yes, Iāve kept the majority of the seeds at a friendās freezer and Iāve been able to do it at this location as well. Better to be safe then sorry.

This is why i straight up stopped buying seeds. I might trade em, get heirloom clones, or pay for shipping
But im no longer dropping hundreds or thousands of dollars on seed packs. Ive got more than i could ever grow in a lifetime. Digging through my packs its like a completely different person did all of that, its insane.
One upside is ive got a insane collection but still. How many can one person grow?

Just waiting for the day I can move to the country and have a small field 
In the meantime, itās pop whole packs at a time, usually 3-4, and cull religiously to find the best, or not, and rinse repeat at least twice a year.

You said it. Im trying to downsize to improve how robust my grow and life is. So i can do that or more. But its grueling.
