Hard to sell foxtailed weed. Poor bag appeal to noobs that don’t know any better.

I love it though, especially like this. A pure foxtailed flower expression is a recessive sativa trait and should be bred for. Does extremely well outdoors too.

String of Pearls is what that is called.

Foxtails are stacked calyx’s/brachts, not individual ones on a stick.

Foxtail - occurs as a result of adverse factors, often high temperature and humidity. It is a disadvantage, a response to stress factor.

calyx - the ability of some varieties to grow (lengthen) bracts at a late stage of flowering, provided effective feeding and sufficient lighting. This is an advantage.

I hope to translate right …

Very nice breakdown and/or buildup to a complex term.

A female calyx or bracht in cannabis, is an individual flower with the 2 hairs sticking out. Each one can hold a single seed.

From Robert Clark’s Marijuana Botany:

Foxtailing, which is a group of stacked calyx’s/brachts:

can be a result of stress(mainly in indica’s) or a genetic trait(some sativa’s). There is no round bud on this plant, it is all stacked calyx’s/brachts. Its been growing around 23-25 C, ~60% RH, and maybe ~200 watts so nothing crazy.

That’s the description on most cookie genetics and it’s true, there is a high calyx to leaf ratio. But cookie weed are not know for the elongated calyx formation often known as Foxtails.

No they’re usually pretty damn good calyx to leaf ratio, they’re just mids to smoke. High doesn’t last long and usually boring/no-effects regardless of what it’s crossed to.
