Yeah Iā€™ve heard that from a few but I still have my doubts. Iā€™ve been trying cookies lines off and on for the last decade+ trying to find something decent to smoke and while i do like the flavor of some, none have been able to last longer than around an hour or so and boring af on top of that. @newb2.0ā€™s Dirty Taxi #3 was probably the closest to something Iā€™d be fine with and even that, with TK and Chem D in there and whatnot, was maybe 1.5hrs at best. Tasted great though, but i donā€™t care about flavor at all if high/effects/duration not there.

Dont take my word for it then. Get the cut, Im sure Jet would be thrilled to send you a few, grow them out and see for yourself. Actions speak louder than words my friend and Im SURE youā€™ll see after you grow her out. Sheā€™s strong and lasts a good while. But like I said, dont take my word for it.

The cookie maffia is everywhereā€¦ Watch out! :eyes:

For sure, but I honestly donā€™t think I can bring myself to bother growing a cookies cross. Again, itā€™s been prevalent here on the street and dispo for a long time. Canā€™t even find haze/chem/og/etc. Local friends have grown a bunch of it too. Itā€™s some of the best looking flower Iā€™ve ever seen in my entire life. And absolutely none of it has worked for me at all.

Maybe itā€™s like the people that edibles donā€™t work on, or something, idk. The old lines work for me, zero of the modern/cookie-related oneā€™s do.

Arcata Trainwreck foxtails from genetics. @HolyAngel Have you tried Headband Cookies? I like that one on occasion.

Good point minitiger and i totally agree with you on bought vs gifted seeds. I tend to put more into the gifted ones as an almost obligation like you said. I also go to them first to pop not intentionally its just how it goes usually.

On the foxtails i absolutely love strains that flower that way. Blueberry comes to mind, foxtail flowers dont mold as easy either ive noticed. Maybe just a coincidence but ive noticed foxtail braided flowers tend to taste amazing too ime.

Iā€™m going to just add I hate trimming foxtails on flower. Makes a tedious job worse

THATā€™s the Jack I remember. Not the indica-dominant, more ā€œcommercially viableā€, J1 BS that goes around.

The most intense sativa highs I have personallu ever experiences were from foxtailed buds.

This is good to know! I have a few cultivars that naturally foxtail that I am hoping to grow soon.

Yeah, but my problem is the reverse: I feel like I need to grow the seeds I paid for first, because, you know, I paid for them haha. I wanna pop the shit I paid for before it gets too old (thatā€™s outta the question now; Iā€™ve got fifty years-worth of seeds in the fridge). Which is why Iā€™ve only signed up for a few of those wiki things and only taken a few people up on their offers to send me whatever it is they thought I was gonna be interested in.

And I donā€™t like feeling ā€œbeholdenā€ to anybody or obligated to do anything, either, soā€¦

Anyway, yeah, that picture you posted a picture of, @Shevchenko, is not an example of ā€œfoxtailā€-type flowers haha.

Incorrect. Some weed just wants to do it.

Foxtailing weed is awesome.

I believe a calyx and bract are two distinctly different biological formations. The calyx being inside a bract covering an ovule.

Oh yeah, if you want to get technical theyā€™re two different things, but have been used almost interchangeably in cannabis ^^

What blew my mind is that these seeds we talk about are technically fruit? And the tiger stripes are veins?

The seed is the actual thing inside
