These are all from near the top of the plant. Been waking and baking her the last few days and once or twice in the evening to try and get a feel for it.

It does definitely have an affect! But it does take a bit to get there. Something like two bowls/bong packs to the face in short succession has me feeling good enough to go about my time without needing to smoke again for an hour or two, but it’s just real light. Reminds me heavily of Strawberry Cough and/or some really good reggie/shwag/brickweed from back in the day

I haven’t found a ceiling yet but I haven’t really had enough of her to do so either. Deep down, can tell it’s that old school haze herb. Like if you know it, you will recognize it in here, but overall… Still too light and mellow for me to want to keep.

No visuals or saturated colors. No soaring. It’s not down or anything, it’s clear and functional 100%, I just wish there was a bit more to it. Probably gonna be tossing the clone here in the next week or so. Wanna keep giving her chances but I don’t think it’s happening

Her fat swollen bracts and, long sexy fiery pistils with her thin frame, sure made her a looker though! It’s usually those tall, thin, sexy, lookers with no substance that are most desireable as arm candy but… not when we are talking about weed :joy: :raised_hands:

Right!? She looks like she should be some fantastic, soaring, sativa stuff, but it’s definitely more like some good reggie  A high like I haven’t seen outside of this line in 20+ years, just wish it was stronger like the mom was.

She definitely sounds like an older, unrefined strain. You mentioned brick weed… she does have that “high stick to leaf” ratio that brick weed had :joy: And, you really had to hunt through older seedlines-- for example, Cali-O seeds from Sensi seeds used to have a description explaining how it was possible to find an orange-scented pheno in 25% of the seeds! Only one in four plants was Orange :joy: C99 was originally advertised as having “bad sisters”, and suggestions were that you just needed to “grow enough of them” to find the “keeper” (I cant remember if it was one in three or four)… as it is with most strains that haven’t been inbred to the point of consistency… which (consistency) seems to have a tendency of removing all the subtle sublime qualities of the high that are most desired :joy: :raised_hands:

Bummer she didn’t make the cut but, there are always more just waiting to be grown!

Maybe it’s just waiting for you to cross it with such a sativa. Pity though, it could have been that kind by itself. It’s surprising it’s so light with the sensistar in there.

Both the parents were haze leaning so that’s why no sensistar pass tf out effects in her. I have a sister line to this that used the 1-hit k.o. (c5ss #4) mom but haven’t looked at them myself yet.

This girl is like if you split the c5ss #5 mom in two, and this is purely the lighter side of her high. I’ve seen this exact high show up in the NorthStar’s but it’s a bit better overall in those. Shorter flower and better yielding with stronger but same effects. Still wasn’t my favorite pheno in those either tho :joy:

Nicely done.

That too!

Can’t be picky enough when it comes to the high

Been to 4 grocery stores and I’ve only found ONE single jar of crunchy peanut butter that is made of 100% peanuts and no seed oils. Like, the fuck. Peanuts produce peanut oil, why the f would you replace it with soybean/cottonseed/palm oil. Most the ‘organic’ peanut butter had worse ingredients than just buying jif/Skippy/peterpan but even then. Dumb. Gonna have to go search online for some creamy pure peanut butter

I will only buy peanut butter that has two ingredients- peanuts and salt. and I have also noticed crunchy peanut butter appears to be going extinct.

Mmm… PB :yum:
I have been using primarily Laura Scudder’s Nutty PB since… I was a kid in the 70’s. Others just don’t cut it. For a while I did go to Rainbow Market and bought their freshly ground butter but, freshly ground peanut butter can be really dry if it doesn’t have enough oil.
Peanut oil content varies over the year so, peanut butter is one of the few foods that the laws allow to have it’s oil level added to or removed, so as to maintain a standardized consistency.

Had to just now eat a spoonful, just because it’s so yummy

Oh nice, thanks guys! That gives me some options to look for ^^

Yeah it can be tough to find - costco has a good kirkland brand PB with just peanuts/salt. creamy though. Trader joes has goof ones too, and has crunchy.

Hmm looks like both those are at least an hours drive away  I can find Smuckers jelly and stuff locally but no PB… probably gonna have to just order one of them off Amazon or something

Yeah in regular grocery stores its tough to find - the smuckers natural is probably the easiest.

Not sure if it’s economical or not because I’m allergic and don’t buy PB but if you have a Vitamix or similar high powered blender you can just make your own easily. Same goes for other nut/seed butters.

seriously just make your own
I’ve been making my own pb for at least 15 years. plain roasted unsalted. they sell pounds at Aldi for around 2 bucks.
I have a vitamix and do 600g batches that takes about 5 minutes to make and 20ish minutes to clean up.
I’ve never had this pb separate like “natural” pb you buy in the stores. but I was curious a few years ago and let some sit in a jar to see if it would separate. it had to sit for 3 months. Just anecdotal but that seems gross. fresh made pb is amazing and I can’t eat store made at all.

Just eat the “poisonous” peanut butter. A little poison every now and then never hurt nobody… haha. I mean, seriously, I don’t have the energy anymore to care about EVERY fucking ingredient in EVERY fucking thing I eat. I’m sick of reading labels haha.

So true. It’s weird. I figure it’s gotta have something to do with “cost-effectiveness,” like it’s just cheaper to make the smooth shit so that’s all they’re gonna make, consumer preference be damned.

Didn’t you watch The Princess Bride? Ingesting poison helps build up inmunity to it… What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger :face_with_monocle:
