Holy's Garden (Part 2)

He took the last one down at day 64 with ~5% amber, but she was pretty starved the last few weeks too.

Well got life, 3 of the TK BX1 have popped tails, maybe another couple on the NL5. I’m waiting until I have plants floating in the cup before I plant them. Temps definitely dropped this week so trying to keep it up there as best I can.

Need to get these octopots going stat. TK and MM F3 ready to go in. LCH and maybe something else soon.

So yeah, might be 9 weeks, give or take a week if fed proper. Smoke still came out fantastic on this one.

I’ll take it. Thats way better than expecting to go 11+ weeks. That was the biggest downside of dirty taxi, she wanted easily 77 days.

Lol the great genetics you puff on and grow no hype strain is going to impress you lol. I totally get that, ive had the same experiences with all these newer genetics. They cant hold a candle to a proper haze or bodhi genetics. Those c5 nugs dried up beautifully didnt they. :v:

That’s not so bad at all it’s almost expected for some strains to go longer then the breeder suggests on the package
I truly believe you need to judge each phenotype as individuals

70 days 77 days even 84 I believe is expected especially anything leaning to a sativa side

I started trying harvesting the same plant at different times to see the different profiles

Sorry for the rambling
Just my .02 cents

Yeah, I always add between one and four weeks to the suggested flowering time, depending on the genetics. Breeders say that stuff because most people are reeeealllyyy interested in how quickly something finishes.

4 days in the shot glasses and everything has popped. Had one NL5 seedling floating in the shot glass this morning that I got into a root riot before leaving for work. Now just waiting for the rest to pop out. Likely tonight or tomorrow, and then off to the races :sunglasses:

I just popped 3 of your ssdd bx beans the other day. Tails out of the seeds at 36hours in the shot glass.

A Tiger Affie I popped at the same time was a little seedling floating in the water after 36 hours too. I think that one is already out of the soil now. Had never seen that before

If you can get a perpetual going, you can trick your mind into thinking everything finishes early.

Chop every 5 - 6 weeks with some planning with the sativas, Sprinkling in the indicas at every 3-4 weeks.

What week are these on again? :joy:

@HolyAngel Looking forward to seeing #11 and if you like her.

Great advice thats what i do. Im too gd impatient to harvest every few months then having to wait again. Once in a blue moon ill run an auto too. But ya man if you run long flowering things best to have a fast indca to supplement.

So I found a bottle of that schmuckers natural creamy peanut butter finally. Picked it up at Walmart yesterday. Just finished a sandwich earlier and man! I had forgotten what real peanut butter tasted like! Brought back memories of being a kid.

Coming along… Still a few left in the shotglass’ to go…

In other news, took 8 or so clones off the lone SSDD girl I had vegging with the TK. Took 6 or so clones off the TK too. Gotta pick up more plugs tomorrow… Hopefully setup the octopots tonight, I’ve been hella slacking :see_no_evil:

Man I had a horrible experience with octopots. They absolutely flooded my tent with fungus gnats like no other sip system I’ve ever used. It could have been the bath of soil came with some unwelcome guests or something though. I hope that they work well for you.

What kind of soil did you use? I’d been told HP Promix, 60/40 Coco/Perlite, or preferably, Sunshine Mix #4, which is what I grabbed.

I think I was using Michigan mix soil then and cut it with more aeration mixed in. I probably didn’t use enough perlite and give it the needed aeration ,but after scrapping the tent and fixing that mess up I admit that I wasn’t brave enough to try it again.

I use ProMix HP in my octos and I’ve played with the amount of perlite too after reading a bit from @GrouchyOldMan . Currently running some with zero perlite…and an experiment with an octo using Mapito. I have had great experience with the octos…really only issue is when I f&ck things up, lol. YMMV :green_heart:
