My collection is minuscule compared to yours, but this is why I try to avoid talking about what I have in jars in the fridge. The few times I’ve said anything I had random people asking about packs (nobody regular, really random people).
This.
I understand that, I’ve lost stains that way also. Sorry for asking, I mis understood the second post.
Definitely it depends also to the size of cultivation we are talking about. The bigger the more packs.
In my opinion there are 3 types of packs for the same strain:
- The one you keep to use let say in the next 3months-3years
- the one you keep in the vault to preserve and conserve the gentics ( i. e. Sacred seeds Skunk #1 (01BC1), original WW '96… In this case + tissue culture for clones)
- The one you share to howm may need, deserve or want to test.
The internet always crashes when you post these lists!!
I couldn’t read the whole list. I had to get to work this morning
43 packs is too many packs The perfect number of packs to have is 42.
Or 420 maybe
I like your thinking @Smooth
I am trying to internalize the idea of saving money to buy more grow equipment so I can start running more seeds. I look up to guys like AKBB who just grew what they enjoyed and ended up with a vault of classic genetics.
Lucky. I wish my wife would let me have walk in for my seeds @OhNo555
I was only kidding, but I could use one that size
She is a beauty and every seed collectors dream .
I don’t think you can have “too many” packs. There’s a multitude of things you can do with a wide variety of genetics in safe keeping.
Would it be ok to just have one type of blueberry or cantaloupe? Or just one kind of apple, banana, cherry?
Nah, you want different flavors. Tart, sweet, juicier, can produce more fruit, etc.
Is Legend OG the renowned Canadian Crinkle? I’ve been doing some research on it and it seems Canadian Crinkle cut was Legend OG but can’t seem to get a definitive answer. Heard lots of cool things regarding the Canadian crinkle cut and its resistance to mold, high potency and insane frostage.
Grapes and more grapes for more!
yes this is the crinkle cut, been looked at by a few ppl and no one has told me its not as of yet, still to flower her so there is that.
peace …
I agree. I wish I had kept a lot of the old strains we used to grow. I really didn’t see the new wave coming. It seemed like we would all be ordering from the Dutch seedbanks forever. The strains we have today will be the ones we miss in twenty years because we always think that someone else probably kept a pack.
Nice, good to finally know the real name. Looking forward to seeing her flower, friend!
