Mephisto Genetics gave it that name since the cutting they were given was called Canadian Crinkle. They used it for their grape crinkle auto which is (Canadian Crinkle cut x supernatural) x Ripleys OG auto. Super awesome to know that itās still being circulated in the community.

I wouldnāt go so far as to say Iāve stopped buying seeds, but I have definitely slowed down when it comes to buying more. Iām at the point where Iāll go in and peruse a bit, but more often than not end up talking myself out of buying more. Thereās always room for an exception though, just being more selective about purchases than I was in the past few years.

I grow only for fun. Butā¦I do have a problem. 
My collection currently consists of 200+ strain varieties. Most of which were acquired here.
And whenever someone sends me a larger amount of beans, I feel that itās my duty to pay it forward. Though anything that Iāve ācollectedā is for the intrest to grow eventually, thereās no reason to have more that 5-10. Theyāll always get passed on, unless itās something I plan to do pollination projects with.

Well 930 and Iām well out of likes. I love hearing the folks that are preserving all these genetics.
Iām new to the game and Iāve got maybe 15 packs and a bunch of bag seed. I have no desire to stop there. There is so much diversity and effect in this plant and I want to learn it all. Once Iāve figured out just getting from pop to puff consistently then I hope to get into breeding.
No one should tell anyone else what to do with their property and sure as hell aught to appreciate otherās generosity even if they arenāt the receiving party.
Itās sad this even needs to be a discussion at this point.

Even though Iām not a ācollector,ā Iāve probably already got more seeds than Iāll ever be able to (legally) grow. But I do give away plants and seeds to friends and family, to spread the love around and encourage others to do the same. So many OGers here are generous in that way (in keeping with the mission of this community), it is contagious!
Iām also inclined to have some available for the apocalypse, since seeds will become currency at that point.

Just like with any addiction, when it starts to negatively impact your life. If your bills are paid and the familyās good, who cares how many packs you have in the fridge?

300 plus strains in my fridge. I have a ton of stuff I want to work when I have time. Life is busy atm. But Iāve collected many things I want to cross or bx. Growing marijuana has become more of a life passion than smoking it. Even though I have been running clone only for 2 years besides a few seeds getting popped.
I think of it as something to hand down, as well as share with people who normally have no ideas or wonāt try to get seeds from online. I mean that shit is way too overpriced anyways. Iāve probably only bought 3 or 4 packs in my vault. Iāve acquired all seeds I have mostly from trades and giveaways here.
People who say ahh boo on holding that much seeds. Well go kick rocks. These are for safe keeping. I hear all this stuff about how the companies are fucking up seeds. This is my weed contingency plan.
Yes I said like 300 plus strains. Because thatās when I stopped counting. Probably around 500.
Safe seed storage is supreme!
