Howard's Hunt for Headstash

Yes I hear you on the sticky. I keep forgetting to take my watch off and then have to clean it everytime on that OG.

Huh. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t like this last weekend. Maybe I should check on the plants in the cabinet more often, lol.

They look good up top, but a little neglected.

Gonna experiment with this, just to see what happens. This is in the same cabinet as the pic above.

Wow. Very retro 70’s bush like.

If not careful…

Your stem to cup ratio is off the charts! lol

Last time I checked in on them, I pulled them out of the cabinet to check for nanners etc., and ripped off any roots growing out of the cups. That couldn’t have been too long ago, lol.

So now we’re gonna see just how many roots we can grow in there, hehe :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Nice - interested also.

And. Wear a face shield - the cups may explode at any moment from root pressure. :bomb: (ammonium nitrate!) lol

Ha! Those cups are very thin cheap plastic ones I buy in packages of 100, and I’ve seen them bulging out just slightly on the sides of the lower third by mid flower before.

I’m half convinced they spread all those roots out just to keep from falling over :grinning:

I hear Lebanese weed is the bomb! (not tasteful, I know…)

Damn dude those are almost touching the light. What are you going to do?

I spent way too freaking long looking for this particular comic because of that comment, lol.

Yes, I am an old.

Well, I’ve been flopping the tops as hard as I can, and only raising the light about an inch or two at a time hoping that’ll slow them down. I’ve got another four inches I can raise them (or two of them, at least), so I’m not quite sure what the next step is.

Good luck Man! My freaking OG is a monster. Outside it has passed the height of my Blue gelato and blue dream and they went in the ground long before her. She’s over 6 feet now. I lucked out and got a really citrusy pheno as well. Hoping the flavor is the same sour orange creamsicle I got before! This damn strain is just too hearty! First world problems. lol

Yeah, once they hit the stretch they take off like a sativa, don’t they? Freaking nuts.

This is going to be my last round with this clone, to free up room for pheno hunting the Orange Goji F2 and crosses I made. Always on the hunt for stronger citrus terps, lol :yum:

Good ole Skunk 1 baby! Citrusy goodness!

Well, crap. I flopped a dozen tops yesterday. Like, hard. “Cracking noises and bleeding stems” hard. Today, every single one of them is closer to the light than they were yesterday.

I’m fed up. Tomorrow, I’m going to just straight chop off anything closer than twelve inches away from the light, yield be damned. I don’t have the patience for this any longer, and if I’m being honest I’ve enough in my jars that I don’t even really care about yield this cycle. Even if it cuts yield by half, I’m in good shape. Yay for healthy plants, lol

Drastic times call for drastic measures, and I’m done playing.

Just put some wire on them back to the stem below for a bit until they harden up in that position.

Hmmm. I might be able to do that, actually. Good idea.

 Making the hard decisions. It’ll work out. Flowers aren’t that big yet.

Fishing sinkers work great for this put them on loosely with zip ties.

I’ve never tried it but I have read you can take some pliers and kinda crush the stem a bit. This was something that was for super cropping and was better for veg. Supposed to trigger plant hormones to repair the damaged area instead of vertical growth. Might want to try it on one plant see how it reacts and if it doesn’t work you can just snip it off.
