I bought some gurnees seed starter mix which is coco and had a helluva time with my seedlings.
Luckily on last intuition I uppotted into Promix and most of them straightened out. Never again.

I run straight coco for both seeds and cuts, NEVER had an issue. Not one

Yeah…I really need to kick myself and try soil.
Coco is all I know for 3yrs - zero soil ever.
:peace:
My mentor used coco. He has since passed.

Coco grows FAST and GOOD. BUT, gotta be really on your game as there is NO BUFFER. You fuck up, you pay the price.

Soil gives me the “buffer” i need . To each his own.

amen  thank god for that buffer

Some of my best grows ever have been in organic soil, and if I had more room and better health I’d probably still be growing that way. Coco with automated feeding is working for my current circumstances better, and I’m enjoying the results.

One of these days I’m going to grow out a few prized specimens that are just calling out to be grown in soil, though. Count on it.

Coco works well like I said, and big yields too. I am just NOT anal enough and make TOO MANY mistakes to run anything other than seeds/cuts in coco.

Howard, you seem like Coco would suit you to a T!!!

You named your thread correctly, your gonna have serious head stash!!!

I’ll grow out your prized specimens lol

Shoot! I’m a wizard in the dirt, but my plants barely make it out of the soilless mix. I can screw that up in seconds. Wouldn’t know what to do with coco. Too sophisticated for this broad

RCB Reveg - Signs of Life

I’m seeing new growth, more green, and even new pistils. Seems like it at least wants to reveg, which makes me very happy indeed.

At any rate, it’s not dead yet and doesn’t look like it’s going in that direction, which gives me hope.

Orange Goji - Cleaning Up Down Below

Did some cleaning up of the bazillion or so small branches that were below the canopy. There’s more to do, but I’m ready to smoke a bowl and be done for right now.

Back to cleaning up the lowers, but snapped a few shots of the root pots while I’m in there.

Hey Howard…how often flood, how long stay flooded, how high water level when flooded .
Never ran flood to drain, looks cool!!!

Orange Goji does not need high PPM for what its worth

Currently three fifteen minute floods per day, evenly spaced, to about two inch depth.

Rez is currently at about 1.8 EC, due to not paying enough attention during the last top off. Higher than I wanted, but doesn’t seem to be hurting anything.

Rez temps are 65F on average, but around 62F the last two or three days due to colder than usual weather.
