If it helps, the wilting in the pic, was due to a 3 day drought, and the yellowing, is due to me dropping my nitro to almost nothing. Is the branch that was bad, why people are saying this?
A 3day drought? Like you didn’t water for 3days? That’s actually pretty normal. A drought or not watering for a few days won’t make one single branch suffer and die off, the whole plant would suffer… But Fusarium does that to your plant.
I didn’t read everyone’s posts but I see one other person had mentioned it recently. I’ve heard hydrogen peroxide could help…you need oxygenated water to combat the issue
Maybe try some defoliation and light lollipopping too and remove branches that arent going to develop fully. Might help too possibly. Just a thought, hatd to tell exactly from pictures.
If it’s not fusarium, IMO it could be a root issue with such a large plant in too small of a pot
The EXACT same thing happened to me on such a plant. The biggest one I’d ever grown indoors. Just one singular branch in the middle of the plant wilted just like yours did, I cut it off & the rest of the plant never skipped a beat After harvesting and checking out the rootball, there was a very discolored section of the roots which somewhat confirmed what I’d thought about that single dying branch
Perhaps I got hit with fusarium and didn’t know it
@WeTokeChronic up till the heat died off, I was watering everyday. Shes a 6ft tall plant in a ten gallon pot. @nick131740 ive been defoliating as they yellow from lack of nitro @RookieBuds I busted up the bottoms from the sides a while ago, and may have broke up a section too much
O ok so your soil is probably depleted of Nitrogen from overwatering or seems like it’s a N issue when it could be fusarium. The signs point to fusarium imo and you don’t get one whole branch dying off like that unless it’s fusarium
Well it sounds like your doing everything right then. Who knows though i have a widow giving me issues, and i cant figure out wtf wrong. Just leave it be and see what happens as it cools of soon.
If i had to guess id say pot too small bc it looks like a farly good size plant needing more nitrogen. Some strains prefer root space others like to be in smaller pots. I wanna say my og kush grows were always in bigger sized containers. Og can be slightly finicky too remember that, they love their cal mag especially! Only know by running it several cycles unfortunately.
No amount of N deficiency is gonna make a branch dry up and die like that IMO
I think signs point to watering stress, possible fusarium and/or possible regional root issue exacerbated by watering stress
*What you said about breaking up the roots “in a section too much” also kinda points to a regional/isolated root problem which likely had an “isolated” effect on the plant
It is indeed a small pot, and i got a little in ober my head by starting in April, but here we are. Lesson learned lol
How much you water realy depends on your soil type and specific climate . I water outdoors every day in 100 gallon pots most of the summer with no issues , they will look sad on day two if not. They are at least 8-10 feet tall though
I flood them give them a light watering for a few days as the bottom portion dries and then flood them again , normally feeding every other day in flower with a organic liquid fertilizer along side dry amendments mixed into the soil a few times threw out bloom.
Ill keep an eye on her, and grab peroxide tomorrow
found a few more branches…
Think shes done… dont know what I did wrong, but seeing if I can help her
Definitely nothing but trim. OG kush, bubble hash anyone?
