Hypocalcemia symptom guide. The most misdiagnosed, most common, most limiting problem in Cannabis

So who’s got all the kick ass ratios for growing high brix cannabis in coco using raw elemental salts?

Good question bro, I think @DougDawson would have the answers, I know he uses coco with excellent results.

For as close as you get to raw elementals @lefthandseeds has a great thread with several iterations and even a Sativa specific version towards the end.

Pretty hard to forget the constant flame wars he caused. Several members who were otherwise 100% chill would get into flame wars with him and lose their collective shit. I’m sure the mods were tired of it.

Yeah bring him back he was entertaining.

Since you guys are talking about Calcium, here is a VERY Interesting article… what are your thoughts on what she’s saying?

I’m a very active part of that thread already but thanks for the suggestion.

Who knows? That article was one of the reasons I started reading this thread again. Just another damn rabbit hole lol!

He barely ever answers…

“You suck”
“No u”

Isn’t a flame war lol

Members who are always chill but get into flame wars with strangers on the internet are either acting nice but aren’t or are plain dumb.

Some get riled up on the smallest stuff too. If someone tells me I can’t grow shit and I’m clinically retarded. My first thought is “yeah I could probably do better, and I haven’t read a book in a bit, any suggestion?”
Not
You think you hot shit, I’m hot shit, look at my burnt plants they ar perfection you moron!

equal parts gypsum and maxibloom and just regulate the EC

I mean he was suspended for “attacking the community”. I think a lot of the flame wars were deleted, threads removed entirely. Unless somehow I’m thinking of a completely different user…

Awesome! Are you running this for veg as well? Were you running into mold issues with the plants leaking sap like that? Did you check brix with a refractometer? How was the flavor? Sorry for all the questions but if your getting high brix and great flavor from maxi and gypsum, I’ll run out and grab a bag of gypsum right now cause I still got a shit load of maxi left lol!

His first account got banned because he said “yall plants are deficient” and it caused a riot in .02 seconds.

That’s the attacking part…

Anyway
I can always do the research on my own hehe

I do run the same feed in veg, just less EC.
I have never once seen mold nor bud rot nor PM in my setup regardless of sap or otherwise. I run 75-80F and 60%RH.
I have not checked brix with the refractometer.
Flavor is fantastic! Do you mean from the sap or the flower? flower is great! sap tastes like caramel.

I use solution grade gypsum or food grade gypsum powder. I bottom feed so ymmv but I tend to use ~1tbsp gypsm(2grams per gal) and ~1tbsp maxibloom(5grams per gal) per 5 gallon bucket of water.
Veg = ~1.7 EC give or take, some need a little more, some need a little less but this is from cotyledons.
Flower = 2.3-3.0+ EC depending on plant size

Thank you @HolyAngel! I’m going to give this a try. You did say you were in coco coir correct? Oh, and I was talking about the flavor of the bud lol!

Yes, coco+perlite in a roughly 50/50 mix by volume.
Flavor and smell of the bud is fantastic! Best I’ve ever grown has been from this nute mix.

Thanks again man, I’m really excited about this! I’m basically in the same mix so for how easy this is, as long as the bud comes out tasting good this might be my new go to.

Might have to order the soluble gypsum on line though, think I only have the pelletized near available near me.
