I think cal/mag def

Looks like the 2nd pic to me…also the fact the issues started 3 days after I stopped adding it lol

Good luck. You may also want to stop listening to your buddy who said you don’t need to add calcium or magnesium when they are flowering. I have never heard of dropping those items part way through the grow. Hope the Calmag sorts it out for you :v:

Looks like both the me. The leaf tips and edges look like Mag and the spots look like calcium. Or to me anyway.

I learned that mistake my first grow when I didnt buy a bottle of calmag then had a deficiency lol

Reassuring someone else agreed

maybe the deficience is because with that lower ph, the plant cant absorb an especific nutrient, like the chart @George shared above.

in your sit i would keep using CalMag with moderation and try get up the PH of your solution like u alread mentioned wich you will do, i guess it will be benefit to them

he saved me with the same chart on my first hydro run.

It’s definitely not parasites.

Was thinking the same ejem|nullxnull, in Tabernack they would call it a “deja vu” … slap|nullxnull

So it’s been a week and spotting has continued.

Been adding in calmag

I must have misread PH originally because buckets are sitting around 6.0 which should be ok.

One thing weird going on…I pumped out my buckets on Thursday, filled with EC1.5 water. Then topped up with 1.5 EC daily for the last 5 days and now bucket EC is reading 2.0EC

I’m feeding with Calmag, sensi bloom AB, big bud and bud candy.

Maybe 1.5 EC is too high? I’ve been feeding with that EC for most of flowering and that’s still below the recommended mix on the bottles.

3 of the other plants are also affected by the spotting but not a severe as this one in the pics.

The EC has also been rising in the other buckets the same way.

Water temps are a little low sitting at 16 degrees C here at mid day. Maybe that’s too cold?

I’m going to pump the buckets right now and try topping up with like an EC1.3 which seems really low…IDK gotta try somthing.

Any input is really appreciated, I’m just about 6 weeks into 1212, so not much longer to go, but would like for this to not happen next grow and solve the issue.

You may have a nutrient lockout, plant is not feeding as EC rises, just drinking, I would lower the EC and top with pHed water (no nutes) until I would see EC lowering.

Plant at this late stage doesn’t need many nutrients, most of people even flush so the plant start to feed from the leaves and starts its senescence, less is better … entripao|nullxnull

Thanks George. I’ll read into what causes lockout and see if I can find the problem…

I had thought DWC you only need to flush for a few days. I used to flush for 10 days in soil.

Someone told me instead of flushing just give the 30% of nutrients the last week or so, plant has still lots of food in the leaves, no risk trying it … beer3|nullxnull

Yes I’ll give it a go thank you.

Could this plant have been eating itself the entire 6 weeks of flower? It was week 1 of 1212 that I noticed the rusting starting…

If she was canibalizing herself you would see yellowing leaves in the lower zone, EC wouldn’t be so high as she would start feeding from the res before depleting its reserves in her leaves … beer3|nullxnull
