Based on my work schedule and weather forecast, I see Sept 10th or September 18th having nice weather but since that is such short notice. Might have to be an indoor sesh during October or later. I will post a thread with details as soon as I have permissions. Until then we can discuss here. I currently have some indoor Head Cheese I grew from Night Owl that’s pretty decent and I should have some Bruce Banner 3 auto ready to smoke by Christmas.

What do u do with excess buds?
suggestions / ideas
I make edibles for personal consumption. To remain legal and compliant, I grind excess bud and mix with used soil to be composted. Or ground and mixed with soil and sprayed with bleach placed in trash labeled medical cannabis waste , not fit for consumption. To be honest I don’t do the latter. I just compost it, but that is what dispensaries did in the past. I wouldn’t exchange or gift it, and if I did I would not incriminate myself online by admitting to it.

I have two large Jars I have hardly smoked 2 to 3 buds in 6 mos
I may vacuum seal and than store in the cold.
2022 looks like I will have at least 4 girls over 6 feet with 200 buds each. Waymore than I need.
Not sure what I’lll do with all the buds but I’m having fun growing.

I keep them in the freezer and just eat 1 cube that melts in your mouth before I go to a bar.

Things I try to keep in mind.

I try to produce only what I need in order to not create extra work for myself.

I try and produce varieties that I like and is up to my standards, so if no one else wants it… I don’t care because I am happy to consume it all.

If I need to store things long term, which I don’t like to do. I try and make the best Ice water hash/rosin possible out of the material. (Hash has a better shelf life than herb.)

Cannabutter/coconut oil keeps longer than dry flower.
5.Don’t be afraid to waste product, only consume A grade. (I don’t want to eat edibles made from trim.)

Agreed.
Quality over quantity and not being afraid to waste product is key. Another option is to make some green dragon with any excess since it has an almost indefinite shelf life.

Nothing wrong with dark tincture imo. If you want the color to stay lighter, I have had success using hash and food grade glycerin. Stays gold/orange for 1 year plus and tastes pretty good.

I just used everclear and ground bud. It’s stored in amber dropper bottles, and I don’t really care what the color is as long as it gets me high.

I used Everclear as well. Emptied a bottle into my Magical Butter Machine, added a few ounces of decarbed flower, and started the cycle. A couple hours later I poured it through their filter bag (190 micron, iirc), then into dark dropper bottles which I keep in the fridge. Ended up where 1ml = 1 dose.

I used some potent polish vodka 192 proof…
Heres my glycerin…I used 1oz. of clone only strain of Green Crack before they had seeds of Green Crack…I love this stuff it has a sweet taste and I keep it in my fridge bromigos…
My green dragon did look like this…its the same jar that’s on the window sill.
