Indoor / Outdoor 2024

Great Idea… we looked at it yesterday, applauding.

Making it a Catch-All is a great suggestion, Thanks @defharo and Cheers @Pigeonman

Here is the jar of Hawaiian Snow that’s to be Cobbed this afternoon.

I removed the carrots last nite from the jar before going to Bed, after Burping it many times to keep the RH below 70…

Here we are this morning; sealed & steady… and walking a fine-line.

I will have a Canary in the Cobb pkg., to hi-light any Mold/Fungus that occurs

I’ll Start cooking around 13:00

Heres a Canary below… unprotected, and inside the Cobb wrapper. This will show any Mold or Fungus growth… during the Sous-Vid process. If mold is showing, toss it!

ps. (the rust coloured spots are from weights I used, to keep Cobbs submerged… its not Mold)
Here’s the Hawaiian Snow, ready for the Jacuzzi.
59 grams from the Jar after 24hrs at a higher RH; Corralling the Buds so they can be squished and rolled; Double parchment, with a good wringing torque to finish

If Mold or Fungus are present in the Cobb, it’s exposed after the First step involving Heat & Fermenting. The “Canary” will make it Obvious.

Will be a positive sign to see liquid within the plastic, after step1! Colours are a bonus. Confirms a mingling of the contents (just an example below)

November 1st, tent update
KASHMIR Plants are just fine, with a Double Grape 87 auto in the middle.

@vinu58ster
Here are a couple shots of the Kashmir Branch development… plants are averaging 48-50cm

The A Acapulco Gold has some leaves that are straightening… (un-clawing) slowly.

A Tent overview first… below

Both Acapulco Gold A/B are close to 65cm tall, from Dirt
Almost done week 2 of Bloom, moving to 12.5hrs light tonight @defharo

Its funny how some simple tasks just Fail at every possible opportunity.

Yesterday my Sous-vid machine failed me. The spring-Clip Broke and then the temp adjustment, just would not function.

It had served me well as I’ve really abused it lol. Easy fix, I bought a new one

Last nite, All I wished to do was Vac-seal a Cobb and Sous-Vid it…

The sealed Bag… above, had re-filled with air 5 min later. No problem, I’ll re-seal it.

The vac-sealer THEN begins intermittent operation. I screw up another couple of attempts. Then while un-packing an attempt, I proceed to Split the Parchment paper; with profanity.
There are No more vac-bags…

I re-rolled the Cobb, stuck it in a jar and it maintained a 72% rh overnite.

I was impressed. As soon as the jar was opened, the RH meter responded immediately, so the higher rh was a confirmation of the contents holding more actual moisture

This morning, yep, had to purchase a Vac-Sealer, w/bags; back to square one! Arghh.
It all worked perfectly first-time

Its in Progress! 24hrs @ 41c
(the Pot is on my cool front porch and is wrapped in a towel with a Lid-on, as much as possible)
No liquids visible, no fuzz, next step

She’s snapping out of the high n clawing. Starts top and works down the plant. Some never do recover fully if you’re a soil grower using dry nutes. Nice your able to flush these and lower the amount. Where are you at now? 1/3 normal N? Once they straighten out completely you can try to bump to 50% but ime keeping it slightly deficient is infinitely better than using slightly too much when it comes to proper bud development and ripening properly too. Looking good!

Thanks for that!

The only n2 left in the diet, was metered-out @ 33% of what the 2-8-4 mix called for. SO You are correct.

there is no other N in the diet from here on in @Upstate, beyond 1-more partial Amendment in 3 weeks time; tba

You are bang-on Correct.

All three are explosive, that much goes without question. Allowing for a bit of a cure before Getting too carried away with words

As much as I love your BBD, I have to say its taking the back-seat to the 2 so far.

Cowabunga Bro.
Apollo Ape gets a scouting report tomorrow!

Today its just not available after burning a Zamaldelica omg. Its all Rich Floral dankness, we just trimmed the plant-up.

we had to close the Season with a Festive offering

How was the smell and quality. The Hawaiin Snow didn’t look great more of a pure type Sativa but I’d assume what it crossed to would have brought more frost.
