Indoor / Outdoor 2024

This is why I buy in bulk now.

Storing it is cheaper than buying in the amounts I use at a time so it’s now a “i’m use it eventually” point.

I hope you have compassion for my confusions, my language is Spanish

I am giggling along Defharo, there’s zero issue.
Understood 100% that we did not understood and now we all doooo

Perlite in its Natural state, I’ve never looked that up… have a hard-time visualizing it in nature

love that we can release Si into the Soil, recycling the Husks

It is another organic component that complements others. My interest in the material is that it is a waste material that I use to replace perlite. For me, perlite is very expensive to produce in terms of energy, and rice husk not only supplements the only properties of perlite: water retention and aeration of the substrate, but also provides organic matter and minerals, mainly silica.

Perlite is a volcanic mineral that is expanded with high heat to obtain a porous and light product.

Thanks for that “D”

There is a fascinating mineral that can replace perlite, vermiculite or shells, but it is more expensive. It is zeolite in a grain size of 1-3mm, I use it in my substrates, but not in the quantity I would like.

I mentioned this because almost 1000°C is needed for the perlite process, and for me to collaborate with that, it seems too much to me :smiling_imp:

Acapulco Gold -nukeheads- gets to push my Buttons when she thaws-out. Bag-smell, texture, Lift-off etc…

First plant put in for a cure this Summer, 1st one opened Publicly
(buds are firm and rebound nicely/ pak was Frozen = 3hr thaw) thats part of the test: harshness? Smell?, and did it actually cure in the freezer vs the Jar I’m burping…

The Jar; we all know High-pitched sounds… this, is a High-pitched smell. No Dankness, nothing from dampness but a definite Musk. Not the first words I want to use, but Citrus (no orange) with a shake of Pepper are what has stuck to that Musk. its a Bright smell

  • 2 Weeks hanging at 62-65% R.H. & 17-19c. Then 4 weeks vac-sealed in the Freezer. Time to check-in
  • (burnin a little jar-burped doob to check the playing field) half a joint-in and I’m pleasantly creatively stoned.
  • Super-Happy that a few people will be growing these, now! and next. Including @Tlander currently!

ps its nice to have 2 other acapulco gold strains, 1 curing & 1 growing. It will be nice to see any cohesion in these Heirloom versions!

3 strains: Two Photo-Fems from Barneys Farm and Nukeheads + @SativaKid’s Regular seeds.
Even tried a fourth, with one of @defharo’s A.G., MNSL to no avail

Certainly this Vac-sealed bud leaves more flavours in your mouth, and the smell has lost any Citrus, and gone to a refined Earthy Musk… and its uniform. The smell from the grinder makes your nose Salivate

Smoother for sure, still, the big puffs are lung-testers. There is a solid desire to do things, which is perfect. And I have such a good (almost trippy) head buzz going on. for not such a big joint, I’ve a nice body buzz on top of everything else, it packs a punch

You know it, there’s things to do… fyi we had a great yield from this plant

With this bud being frozen, that Seed in the photo above is now in Water… just to see that it works.

I’ll meter the bud-jar now and see where the RH% goes. Burp as req’d.
Theres room to smooth it out

Yeah I mainly used it because it’s very stinky. I had a different kind of trichomes. They’re strait with no heads on them.
