Industrial Hemp anyone growing it

So I send out about four or five emails to these different hemp seed

suppliers

I have to tell you I have always thought some of our seed people in what we do

are just money grubbing whores

to my surprise it appears these folks are head and shoulders about

them

some nice person was going to cut me a deal on 3000 seeds for 1.50 $ US

for a total of 2500 dollars that would be enough to plant an acre with

2500 plants about 3 feet tall that would yield me a pound a plant

finished goods that I could sell for 40 dollars a pound for total of 60 thousand dollars

off the acre

if it was that easy we all would be a Jeff Bezo

But I did find one person that is a farmer that has been working on his

genetics since 1988 when he stabilized to his liking and is doing good thing with it

so we will see

Dequilo

EDIT want to email the oneperson about

why not just grow 60 one pound GG#4 plants and sell the product

for 1000 dollars US a pound for a quick sell

and cut my work by 400 %

but just not worth it :frowning:

@dequilo hey bro Sebring has a special farmers hemp box for serious farm growers on a commercial size scale.

these folks have gotten back to me and talk with me about what I am looking for

they have genetics to work with

I can do four different strains in four different acre lots for seeds

so I can work with my own seed stock

why give money to some one else if I can do it myself

they are good with it, so if can get a permit to do four acres to start

I would love to give this a roll

each plot would yield me about 800 to 1100 pounds of seed stock to plant

with a start up seed cost of 600 US$ for 100 pounds - 25 pounds each of four strains

at a rate of 25 pounds a plot

which for fiber I would need to plant like wheat at around 35 pounds an acre

for product

each seed lot should give me enough seed stock to plant 20 production of fiber acres

they told me lots of farmy type things which did not really mean much to me

but made the farmer I am working with very very excited

so it must be a good thing

when it starts I will post a shit load picture somewhere

it is an outside grow right?

peace and enjoy your day

I did grow some industrial hemp, USO-31, Chinese

@sfzombie13 is in the great WV.

Lol just saw this is 3 yrs old.

yep, and i am very interested in whether @dequilo got their seed stock. i’ve been talking to some dealers about seeds and was planning on doing a similar thing but rather than planting it outside i am going to do it in high houses with good ventilation so it doesn’t go hot. all it takes is one outdoor guerrilla grow to ruin all four of those acres of seeds and consequently everything that comes from them.

i have heard it’s the chinese varieties that go hot and that the french doesn’t and comes with a guarantee. they also tell me that they plant with 50 or more pounds of seeds per acre which i thought was just insane until they told me there is nothing but stalk on the lower two thirds of the plant.

thanx for tagging me, i just learned about the chinese seeds going hot two weeks ago and had already forgot about this thread.
